This is that one sound I've heard in artists recordings that is so cool yet very hard to achieve using other combinations of effects pedals or rack gear. I have gotten close before but this small pedal alone is the one you gotta have. It is subtle enough to play many styles of music without sounding too wacky, muddy or overly processed and so I will be using it as an integral part of my guitar setup from now on. Excellent effect! very happy purchase.

I bought this delay looking for a fairly specific purpose: I wanted to use the feature that sounds like old Abbey Road tape double tracking. If you've seen the Reverb video, you know what I mean. Unfortunately, it sounded good with a clean tone but when using overdrive or distortion, the slight chorus effect sounded strange. I should note that I don't have a wet dry setup or ability to run stereo with multiple amps and it might yield better results with that.Although I returned it within the 14-day window, I got grilled by the Sam Ash store personnel as to why I was returning it and they were inexplicably upset and annoyed, so I don't think I'll be shopping at the NYC location anymore 🙃

I love this pedal after playing both the strymon deco and this one, I actually prefer for a couple of reasons although I also have a couple of pet peeves about it. First the sound is beautiful on all three settings. The abbey with chorus is wonderful and mimics the beatlesque sound... over all I am very pleased with this pedal. My only peeve is the internal dip switches and TSR connector. I would have preferred external switches verus internal dips and also a second stereo port versus one mono/Stereo. I may decide to get a electrical engineer to add the two extra switches to enable external switching. Great Pedal.

Great sounds
28 April 2022

Would have given 5 stars, the sounds are really good, the only issue was i had to call my local shop to confirm the input/output as they are not marked. It also needs a power supply which I hadn’t noticed and my other (much older) pedals take batteries, but seems most pedals are the same, so i bought a PSU from the shop. But I’m very pleased with the quality of the sounds through my amp using the FX circuit. I’m impressed.

I had to buy one once I saw the Abbey Mode.
17 February 2023

Once I saw Elliot Easton, lead guitarist for the Cars on YouTube said he uses one I had to have one with my Line 6 amp. He also explained it was used on Abbey Road to double track Lennon's voice on the White Album. Easton is one of my favorites and always loved his tone. This pedal makes all my guitars sound better with and it opens up a new world of tone. Love it! Thanks Keeley for a great product.

I thought it would be

I thought it would be more of a delay pedal, but it also has a big reverb as well as interesting chorus sounds. I only used it in mono, but there are stereo options with TRS cables. Included with it were helpful directions about the pedal (thanks Pedal Genie). It has a lot of features packed into a small package. It even has a couple small internal DIP switches for more customizing.

Magic Stereo

This pedal offers instant gratification if you're looking for juicy 60's style stereo separation. Instant doubling, pitch shifting, panning, and delaying your sound in real time. Instead of painstakingly finding the perfect balance with several devices, or manually in a DAW. Also it sounds fantastic. Better than a stereo plugin. It's a great pedal, and a must have for me. Such a time saver workflow wise, making it all the more valuable.

Review of Keeley 30MS Double Tracker Pedal
11 September 2019

Most of the sounds available from this are useable. It enriches your tone without the swirling usually associated with chorus and flanging. The "Abbey" reverb is so good I turned the spring line on my amp to nil! Downsides? It can sound a bit too "produced" with some settings, and it's so much smaller than it looks in the adverts for it! Maybe that last one is a good thing.

The best double tracker / delay I hav ever seen!
7 October 2017

I play a lot of Joe Satriani stuff and he double tracks his guitar parts to get his tone. I had an idea of the sound I wanted as well as something close enough to mimic the tones on Satch songs. This pedal really helped me to do all that and then some and I am just using the Abbey mode which is trying to mimic the double tracking that the Beatles, Joe and so many great artists use either in the studio or for live performances. I was not sure whether Keeley's SeaFoam Chorus or the the 30ms would be best and I called up Sean at Keeley to discuss. Keeley pedals are made in the USA and customer service is also right her in the USA so it is nice to be able to call them and even better that they are also guitar players so they can definitely direct you to the pedal that ... MoreI play a lot of Joe Satriani stuff and he double tracks his guitar parts to get his tone. Unique but Lacking Key Features
4 December 2022

Keeley’s ADT pedal is the only effect of its kind that is explicitly designed to recreate the automatic double tracking effect developed by the engineers at Abbey Road Studios during the Beatles sessions. While the pedal is rich with features, I found that the majority of sounds it generated were not that dissimilar from what any chorus pedal will achieve. Moreover, I was disappointed with the use of the pro mode in tandem with a TRS cable. Pro mode sends a dry signal to one amplifier and a wet signal to another, which wasn’t nearly as interesting as I had hoped. The slapback effect was pretty good in pro mode, however, since the delayed echo played in the second amplifier. I was also disappointed that when you turn the pedal off, your unaffected signal does not ... MoreKeeley’s ADT pedal is the only effect of its kind that is explicitly designed to recreate the automatic double tracking effect developed by the engineers at Abbey Road Studios during the Beatles sessions. The slapback effect was pretty good in pro mode, however, since the delayed echo played in the second amplifier. I was also disappointed that when you turn the pedal off, your unaffected signal does not keep running through the TRS cable into both amplifiers. This means that if you wanted to switch between the effect and no effect, you need to design a pretty complex signal chain for that. This pedal might be better used for acoustic guitar, or vocals, similar to how the Beatles used it. For electric guitar, you can probably achieve similar sounds with chorus, reverb, and delay pedals.
