These Keen Versacore Speed shoes are not only comfortable and supportive, but they look great too! I love how comfortable these are to wear all day long, as well as how versatile they are. They can be used for pretty much any activity, from casual wear to exercise to hiking. I like that it’s an all-around shoe so I can use it for many different activities. They are very supportive and have excellent underfoot comfort. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, athletic shoe that can be used for everything.

I ordered the Versacore Speed as well as the waterproof version. The Speed felt a little lose in the mid-foot area and felt kind of floppy on my feet. It did have a comfy footbed. I honestly didn't give it a good try because I preferred the waterproof version which seems to fit better due to its waterproof material adding some bulk to the upper. I'll be returning the Speed but keeping the Versacore Waterproof shoes.

59 years old. Got the Versacore for light walking, some light duty hiking and everyday casual wear. I ve owned a lot of shoes. In fact I owned a shoe store once upon a time and we sold Keens. I m can easily say this is the most comfortable shoe right out of box I ve ever put on. The first five days are trouble free, very comfortable, lightweight yet supportive and I m fairly large 6 2 250 lbs. so I know support when I feel it. I ordered a size 15 and they re spot on for sizing. IMO you have a winner here with the Versacore. I intend on getting a couple more in different colors. Well done Keen!! Highly recommend!
I had previously purchased the waterproof version of this shoe and liked it so much I felt it necessary to buy this one. I’m so glad I did because I wear it every day! It’s very comfortable if not maybe just a bit long. I can deal with that as I’d rather have more room than not enough. Traction is unbelievable - there is no lack of grip. They’re very nice looking and I’ve already sold my son on them as he ordered a pair a few days ago (we wear the same size). Nice looks, good traction, well made, comfortable. What more can you ask for?
I ordered these with another pair of sneakers. Both arrived on time and both pair fit great. I have several pairs of Keen shoes and boots, and all of them are consistently great. These sneakers arrived with laces that were too short. I wrote to the company to ask about this, and they replied quickly, asking me to count the holes on one side. In doing so, the laces were verified as being a few inches too short. I replied as such and was advised to return the shoes and repurchase the same pair. I wrote back and explained that this seemed silly since I liked the shoes. I was told "As an environmentally conscious company, we do not make additional laces outside of production. I found the uppers to be pretty skimpy (and I don't have high arches or fat feet). Therefore, the laces are what end up covering the top of your foot. Sadly, the tongue is pretty thin, low density foam, with a seam down the center of (from L to R), and a bit on the narrow side. So, to prevent annoying pressure points on the tops of my feet, I had to keep the shoes looser than I normally would. Also, tried another pair and they were the same. Quite a disappointing experience (and one I don't have with shoes).
I’ve been a big fan of the Keen NXIS speed (I’ve had 4 pair over the years) and love that shoe. Unfortunately it is no longer listed on Keen’s website. This shoe looked like it would be a close replacement but it’s not. There is less padding in this shoe than the NXIS speed. The toe box looks a little smaller but I really didn’t notice that being an issue when wearing. My biggest issue when wearing these shoe is the heel to toe drop is significantly more than the NXIS. I’ve found that my low back starts hurting if I stand around in these shoe much. As soon as I put on my wore out NXIS my back stops hurting. Unfortunately it’s past the 30 day return so I’ll just be passing these shoes on. I needed a new pair of hiking shoes for a 25 day vacation. I ordered pair after pair (various brands) and went to at least 10 shoe stores and could not find a pair that didn’t drive my right foot crazy. I like a wide toe box and a shoe that has smooth sides. I went to Cabela’s and the associate there had me try on the Versacore Speed. I normally wear a women’s 10.5 but he had me try on a men’s shoe. They felt great! They are light and they don’t rub my foot. The width is perfect. They are so comfortable. I tie my laces in a double bow and have no issue with them coming untied.
I have multiple pairs of Keens now.. I have a wide foot so Keens my go to brand.I ordered in 13 ( my normal Keen size if they aren't waterproof ). They were to small length wise, my toes were up agaisnt in front.Sent these back only got credit for shoes not what the shipping cost was originally.. ( This is b.s. in my opinion )Ordered 14's they are way too big, my foit slide around in the when tied.I now sent these back and again lost out on my shipping charge.Im no thrilled that I lost credit for 2 shipping charges when theres such a difference in sizes beteeen 13 and 14's.Not getting credit for my full purchase even though Keen says " Free 30 day trial " Ticks me off. I most likely won't be ordering from there main site again.
