These shoes are awesome! My wife and I wanted to purchase a pair of water shoes for our daughter, so that her feet would be off the floor when going to the outdoor pool this summer. They are a great fit and true to size. Keen has a sizing guide that you can print and then have the child's foot placed on the paper to see the measurement. They are the perfect width, as Keen is known to be wider than other brands. There are spaces on the side to allow for water drainage, and they dry fairly quickly all things considered. Definitely plan on purchasing additional pairs as our daughter grows. Love these shoes for the summer!

These are great shoes however they do not absorb the ground and make my legs tired. I bought these (as an adult) for our trip to Disney… I took a walk in them to try them out before we went, I am going to exchange them for the H2 . I liked the colors in this style better and I like the profile better but they seem more for the water than the trail. Also I wear a 7 in women’s I purchased a size 5 it fit heal to toe and we’re still comfortable. I will size up to a 6… they were also hot to walk in I am thinking because they were a bit tight.

Bought these shoes to hike the narrows at the end of September, due to my shoe size (16) being unavailable in canyoneering shoes (renting or buying). I paired the shoes with some neoprene socks for that hike. We ended up going all the way to the Big Springs and Orderville Canyon, about 10 miles on the day.The shoes held up great. They're obviously not as rugged as hiking boots, but overall my feet felt well protected. The thick sole protects well from the uneven round and jagged rocks, and the toe cap and webbing kept my upper foot well protected. The grip was one of my biggest concerns, but it was great! Anything covered in algae was obviously still slippery, but nothing else.My two gripes are the that on one foot the back strap pushes hard into my heel when ... MoreBought these shoes to hike the narrows at the end of September, due to my shoe size (16) being unavailable in canyoneering shoes (renting or buying). Luckily the latter is more of an annoyance than an issue.I did use the shoes barefoot for a shorter hike (~2 miles) to a swimming hole, for which they were fantastic. I did break out (suspect the neoprene?) so it may be worth a wash before use.

I buy these very summer for my two kids, and have been for a few years. We started buying them for the kids when the kids turned two or three.I love that they are closed toe so I don’t need to worry about the sandal getting in the way when they are running. They dry easily when wet, and don’t get stinky.I find the price to be really pricey at $70 for kids sandals, but I often am able to find a sale. I only buy one pair of sandals for the kids, and these are them. They are durable, and are great for summer biking and exploring.
Purchased these shoes for our daughter after buying a smaller version for her last year. These water shoes are great; however, they run small. They dry fairly quick and are very practical for outdoor water activities. The inner bottom sole of the shoes are a soft foam and provide good support for active day activities in and out of the water. We had to return them for a size up because this model seems to run small in width as well as there being limited room for the foot to slip in and out.
We live in Hawai’i and we love these sandals! We have bought them three times already. Our daughter is two. She wears them with everything and wears them year-round to school, the beach, the playground, on walks, etc. The colors are great and we prefer this style because they’re a little less bulky than some of the other Keen’s. Highly recommend for active littles ones who love to play outside.
I bought these for a backpacking trip to Baxter state park. I knew we had several water crossings to accomplish during our journey. We would have take a few minutes and switch out our hiking boots and securely strap them to our packs and switch to our water sandals and plunge into the frigid water to cross. The closed toe is perfect because you have to cram your foot to the bottom of the rocks before you get a good anchor and take the next step. The bottom of the sandal was sturdy and secure enough to feel safe just like a hiking boot.
I ordered the Seacamp and the Newport for my toddler. The Seacamp is lighter with little support and most likely suited for beach or pool as opposed to everyday wear. As opposed to the Newport (which I kept) that is very sturdy with excellent support. The Seacamp is extremely narrow and small in the toebox, I couldn't even get it on. If your toddler has chubby little feet like mine, you might not find this shoe a good fit. Both shoes run small and I had to size up.
I was really excited to get my 5 year old a pair of Keens. Unfortunately upon arrival they absolutely wreaked of some extremely strong chemical odor. Left them on the porch to off gas and after two weeks it still gives me a headache when I get within 2 feet of them. Not a regular headache, a tingling sensation throughout my whole head - clearly not something that should be inhaled and yet they were meant for my 5 year old. Keen told me it was a harmless primer and suggested I use Febreeze… to cover the smell, I suppose since that’s what that product does. Nothing could cover this odor. I actually washed them in the washing machine and they still wreak of chemical odor. Made my washing machine smell of it as well. Really concerned what chemical could leave such a strong odor and when we get too near and get a whiff feel an awful sensation in my head. It’s so concerning that Keen isn’t concerned why this pair smells so horrifically. I may get them tested by lab.
Got a size 6 for my tall 16 months old. That's her regular size and she has room to grow into them for the summer. I'm not convinced about the fit around the ankle however. She doesn't really have chubby legs and the ankle strap digs in her shin whether she's standing up or bending over. She doesn't complain, but they do leave marks. Will have to try another brand for her next pair and see if they fit better. Otherwise, very cute, high quality, can't complain.
