These kids' boots are easy to put on and secure, durable enough to last a busy hiking season (which might not be as obvious when it comes to kids' footwear) and affordable enough so you won't have to work double shifts to get those.

Awesome boots. Great for my boys who wear them hard! They are tough enough to withstand what they put them through

These were INCREDIBLY shoddily made and basically disintegrated after less than a month of summer hiking trips. The tongue started to tear, our son blew through the outside-right of the toe box (he weighs about 45lbs, so this is not a lot of force), the lace loops ripped, and one of the laces tore in half to the point where we just had to tie two knots.

Great shoe for kids, gives them a good mileage range for walking and with an added sock some room to grow.
So far, so good. My son loves them and the waterproofing is excellent :)
I searched everywhere for this hiker for my grandson and Moosejaw was the only place that had them in his size and color at a great price. These boots are made from quality material and durable are waterproof. They stand up to the harsh, rough conditions my grandsons put them through. Hiking, fishing, and camping the great outdoors.
Great hiking shoes for a 6 year old! She loves the color and fit. The elastic tie has worked and been nice that she can do it on her own. I'm not sure yet if it will hold up, but if it doesn't we can always add regular laces later. It has proven to be waterproof... unless of course she steps all the way into the creek lol!
Light and sturdy boots for kids. My daughter had a week long school trip in the Sierra and wore these boots the entire time; around the campground and for hikes. They are light and comfortable according to her. She rate the boots five stars
These boots are amazing. This is my son's 2nd pair in a bigger size. He loves them so much he sometimes wears them to school because they are black. He says they're comfortable, easy to put on and he loves their look. The thin yellow strip's reflect in the dark.
These were fine for my 11-12 yr olds 2-3 day backcountry trips with me in terms of rugged soles and decent uppers on dry terrain but he got total soakers on stream crossings where the water level exceeded the lower part of tongue. I know all boots leak a little through the tongue gusset but these performed exceptionally poorly. One stream crossing early on and he had to deal with sopping socks for the next 8 hours. We kept switching out back and forth with his one extra pair of socks while we tried to dry the other pair outside my pack but the boot liners I guess hold too much water and kept on re-soaking the switched socks. You'll need to stick to the dry if these are going to work out for you. Also the lacing bungee wear out very quickly at the top eyelets.
