A great pair of sandals

The first time I looked at these in the store I was drawn to them because they looked so much different than every other pair of sandals out there. I didn't get them, though, because I just didn't want to take the time to try them on. Fast forward a couple months -- I had an REI gift card in hand and I was headed to FL for some R&R. I tried on about 6 other pairs, but I just kept coming back to the UNEEKs. Finally tried them on and found them true to size. Wore them the entire time I was at Sanibel (unless I was on the beach or in the water -- then I went barefoot because I guess I like to torture my feet by walking on shells) and I have to say this -- I am 100% glad I got them. They look great - they feel great, and my son even said that if I wore a black pair of socks with them they would look like a tennis shoe so he thought that was great.As other reviewers have mentioned, pebbles can work their way in, but I would think that anyone who looks at them could probably pretty reasonably figure that out -- but then - hey - maybe not -- look who our candidates are for president this year... so yeah - probably not.As a note - I have very long, narrow feet (12A), and I found a size 12 to work perfectly. I wouldn't want them larger or smaller.This is a very happy KEEN customer -- and the fact that I could get them at REI is icing on the cake.

Missing gps, Bluetooth and autonomous walking.

First, these are great sandals. Don't get me wrong, I love the sandals, but they are missing some key features. They are bad sandals for people who suffer from CRS disease. CRS (can't remember $#!+) affects those who are careless, clumsy or both.As a result of my CRS disease, I love the sandals in a hotel on the business trip. I called the hotel afterwards but the hotel staff claims they cannot find the sandals. Right now I'm sure some lucky men's size 10, sandal stealer is hanging out by the pool on this hot summer solstice day wearing my sandals. If that is the case I'm sure this person is enjoying the fact the sandals easily slip on and off, and the breeze you get on your tootsies because of the mesh network of bungee that holds the sandal snug on your foot. I hope this nefarious shoe swindler realizes these sandals run a little small and that he or she should order a half size larger if they'd like to legally purchase the shoe after I track them down Liam Neeson style.Advice to KEEN: Future versions of the shoe might come with GPS capability. With GPS capability I might know which pool the sandal stealer is hanging out at. I might offer a sixer of Corona as a trade as long as the thief's feet are disease free. Future versions of the shoe might also come with Bluetooth capability. With Bluetooth, my phone might buzz if I walk away from them too far. Future versions of the shumai also come with and autonomous feature. With an autonomous feature, I might instructed the shoes via the electric Internets to walk their way back to my house.

Sized smaller than expected

Love the style, but the shoe was too small by far. I have 12.5 size feet. I can fit in some size 12 shoes and some 13 shoes. I ordered these in 12, since 13 was not available. I was excited and hopeful when they arrived. Sadly, they were way too small. I couldn't even get my foot into them. I expected some give based on the style-- but none at all. I'm giving them 3 stars for the style and the ease of return.

So comfy and addictive

Second pair of Keens I've owned fourth pair I've bought. My first pair was the H2 Newports which lasted me 3 straight years of constant use. I also had to buy a pair for my girlfriend from then. Funny story at the time I was buying them she asked is this something you could see yourself using or needing due to the fact that she thought they were ugly...We were walking all day one time at Sea World were when her feet started to hurt I made the comment that my feet felt great. I even told her to wear my shoes for the rest of the 10 minutes of the park that we were soon to exit the minute she put them on she could tell the difference later that week I bought her her own pair and she was a static and pour them up until the point where we broke up. I honestly couldn't tell you if she still has them today but getting back to the review of these shoes. I bought my now girlfriend a pair of these new shoes which I fell in love with the minute I saw them and she absolutely loved them the minute she put them on. I was jealous that she had a pair of them so I did indeed buy myself a pair of the neon green because I am a huge fan of the color. I will say when I tried them on they hurt my left foot because part of the shoe was hurting my top left foot near the toe but after the third time wearing them that one away. They actually hurt when I tried them on and asked if they had another pair of the same size. They did not and I was hesitant to buy the shoes. I'm so glad I did the shoes adhere to your feet and even if there's a problem there easily fixed and corrected just by moving things around you won't buy a better sandal. The only con is thinking that you could wear these in a area where grass or gravel is around because they can let in debris. But if you're wanting a shoe to wear around town to the beach or just for some fun or something for summer or in my case in San Antonio Texas bough them you want to be disappointed

This show has no competition!

Perfect in every way.These summer shoes for my cruise are even better looking in person.And extremely comfortable.You pay more for a better shoe and don't regret it.Great deal from the Rack because my size was the only one left... Lucky me.

Unanimous Decision

I already own a pair of these. I just ordered two new pairs. It's always so funny when people notice these shoes on my feet. They almost always seem.. perplexed? The level of comfort that comes with this product - it's unmatched, yet so few know it. I'm a pretty frugal person, but buying two new pairs on a sale (even though my current pair still has a long ways to go) is completely justifiable considering the quality-price ratio. These are the road less traveled, the once in a lifetime, the great white buffalo. I'm glad to know I will have these to wear for at least a couple more years."Man and Earth bind at the feet. Unique Design

Sandal has a unique design. It's made of 3 pieces of long laces weaved together.I wore it inside only (winter right now). First impression: I'm a big fan of Keen, but it's not as comfortable as other Keen shoes or sandals. I think the sole could be more comfortable – seems a bit thin. I wouldn't wear it on long hikes on trails. However - it does seem to be very "grippy" - if that's a characteristic you’re looking for.Having said this - it's light weight and can be packed easily into a travel bag.Looking forward to wearing it in the real world.

Versatile, funky, and sturdy

These were purchased as something to be used between flip flop and lace up shoe use cases. They are comfy and sturdy, and cool/unique. They did great this weekend when carried as a river/camp shoe on a backpacking trip. A little heavy for that but perfect in function.They do get uncomfortable around sand, as it gets trapped between foot and shoe, but I think thats common for this type of shoe in general.. Overall, would definitely recommend!
