These shoes are awesome and Iāve gotten so many compliments on them from all types of people. I bought them mostly for around town and work so canāt attest to how they would function in more wild terrains. I initially purchased a half size up as instructed but returned them for my regular size and they fit perfectly. Iām a solid size 9 and have ānormalā width with a high instep. They are pricier than the Tevaās I was looking at but feel so much more durable so worth the extra money in my opinion. Canāt wait to wear them all summer the long.

Having said that many people are convulsed with horror at their alleged hideousness š I think they look quite pretty especially my other cream pair which looks fab - imho - with summer frocks. I bought my first pair of Keen UNEEK sneakers at least 5-6 years ago and Iāve been hooked ever since! I currently own four pairs in different colors. I love how my feet are able to breathe, but these shoes also have much more support than a sandal. I am a massage therapist and these have been the ideal shoes for me to wear day in and day out for work and virtually everything else too. Iām sure this is not in the recommended care instructions, but I confess that I do wash them in the washing machine and then allow them to air dry. I do this on a fairly regular basis and they seem to hold up great. I love these shoes!

I have really enjoyed wearing these sandals during the summertime. They are very lightweight and almost have a "cooling" feel. I was looking for a summer sandal that did not trap all the heat inside the shoe. I was slightly concerned about this sandal doing that and was pleasantly surprised that they almost felt cold walking outside into the outdoor heat after the sandals had been in the air conditioned home overnight. To me, the open-toe astoria sandal was too bulky compared to the lightweightness of the UNEEK sandal, so it has been worth the debris (who knows, perhaps the open-toe astoria would still have caught as much debris).For someone with foot issues (when shoes are too tight on my feet, my feet will be in pain and I have 4 large bunions), I have had zero pain or aching/tired feet when wearing these Keens for hours on end. Trying to maintain my shoes because they were otherwise in good condition I looked to get an eyelet to replace it. I used the chat for customer service and they pointed me to a warrenty claim but I don't want to replace the whole boots just the eyelet especially because I have already broke these boots in. I submitted a warrenty as they had no other avenue for redress. Of course this was denied as 1. these boots were old and not under warrenty anymore and 2. they don't send replacements. I was also bounced between many Keen representatives when answering my emails on the warrenty. Sublimely comfortable! I have tested these over different terrains. Fine on the beach, but tiny stones do get in. Feet get wet if the sand is wet but shoes dry quickly. I walked 5 miles on pavements in supreme comfort. Sufficient arch support to suit my fussy high maintenance feet. Also sufficient give to suit my slight bunions. These are very comfy and in my opinion visually acceptable but my three grown up daughters jointly maintain that they are beyond hideous and will not be swayed!I will say that the ones with the sling back open heel are wider and far more comfortable (for me) than another pair I previously bought with a closed heel which do feel quite tight though I do have wide feet.But my daughters maintain they are super geeky. Whatever!

I went up a half size and have been able to purchase multiple pairs with confidence that they will fit and they have. I think I like the tie dye ones best and they are a little "dressier" than the Newports. The only downside for me is they are wide and definitely make my foot look larger from the ankle forward and yes, my foot is a size 9, but it feels disproportionate. I will say for me they are comfortable for shorter bursts of time. I have high arches so I do find they are less comfortable than my Newports. I definitely like them though with capris, casual dresses, and casual pants. The colour choices this year were great! I bi8ght these specifically to take on a European vacation (Spain, France, Italy, Ibiza). I averaged about 7 miles a day on uneven pavers synonymous with European streets. While my legs were tired, my feet were free of blisters. They did not require any "breaking in" time. They are probably the most comfortable shoes/sandals I own. Very much worth the price. Toe box is wide to allow for movement as feet swell when walking. There's enough air flow to keep feet cool. I even got a few compliments.
