When he first tried them on they felt a bit snug but once he loosened the laces they fit perfectly. They feel incredibly durable and they have a honeycomb pattern to the material, like they're meant to last forever. They're stunningly well made and they look impenetrable. The bottom of the shoes have writing that describe what they do to protect the planet. They're very waterproof based on the mud puddle my son walked through and not one drop of water eas left on them. It all beaded and rolled right off.

My husband is absolutely chuffed with these! We're experienced hikers and thus, opted to really put these to the test. Besides the shoes being initially a little tight around the middle of his foot, he found them extremely comfortable and easy to break in. The tightness also dissipated with wear. The soles are incredibly sturdy and he barely felt rocks beneath his feet and the traction is phenomenal. His favourite part about the show however, is the excellent ankle support. In terms of waterproof, we had to opt for a splash with the hose as there was no available water in the hike but it did indeed pass the hose test! So excited to take these on more adventures and I highly recommend them. Their quality is second to none.

I received Keen’s Men’s Zionic Waterproof Hiking Boots for free in exchange for my honest review and I absolutely loved it. Usually the appearance of hiking boots are given little thought as the functionality get all the attention but this hiking boot has everything. It’s aesthetically pleasing and will look good with most outfits while still having amazing functionality. It’s waterproof and very durable. It has a snug fit around the ankle but it wraps around the ankle very comfortably. The inside sole of the boot has a beautiful design. I absolutely love this hiking boot and can’t wait to use more often hiking California mountains. I have recommended this boot to my friends and family.

My husband loves to hike long distances 20+miles. These shoes have great potential to assist him on his hikes once he breaks them in some. They have great ankle support with laces that adjust all the way up. The sole of the boot has great cushion support and stability and is very comfortable around the foot. The bottom of the shoe has amazing. Traction which will be great for all season elements. They are waterproof and very attractive design. I got the yellow and black pair and they are sharp! The yellow is more of a mustard yellow and the material is very high quality as expected with the Keen brand. I know want a pair for myself. :) Check out this brand if you plan on buying a quality boot!

Almost good but big fail

I bought these because they fit me so well. Actually that’s an overstatement. What I should say is that they fit me well once I put in an aftermarket insole. The insoles that these come with are flat, generic and cheap. Now, these are great with the insole. However, I took them out on a rainy day. For 8 hours. My feet started getting wet after a couple of hours in the rain and were completely soaked. The keen dry material really is inferior. I’ve had other keen boots in the past as well and they also failed in the rain. I should have known better but the fit fooled me into buying them. I won’t be fooled again.

Great fit, comfortable, sturdy construction

Would be great if they had a wide version, but overall they fits well especially compared to other brands that tend to run narrow with this style of shoe. The toe of the shoe is sturdy and offers some protection. It doesn't advertise this as toe cap protection, but it is more rigid than competitors, which is a plus to me. I work in film production, and use this as a work shoe. It checks the box of tennis shoe comfort, but with added ankle support as a high-top. Rubber sole grips well and is quiet on indoor surfaces. The shoe is waterproof, yet feet stay cool. Slick looking shoe too. So far, so good.

Light weight, comfy, great look

KEEN Zionic Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots for Men: Light weight, comfy, great look. Like so much, I got both colors. I wish they had 1-3 more other colors. I'd buy 2 more. One color for each occasion in my life, walking, work, casual, outdoors. I find em breathable, and the most comfortable shoe I ever wore in my life. I bought em 1 size bigger than my usual, so I can add extra paddings as I suffer from foot pain. Kind of pricy, but for me, serves a great need. If they make a color than black or olive, I hope someone please let's me know so I can buy more colors.

Like Hiking in a Running Shoe

They wear like a running shoe, the padding is soft, and the sole is thick enough and plush enough that they feel like they flex well for your foot. But they also do a wonderful job of absorbing the protrusions you typically come across on a rocky hike.The mid height doesn't offer the best ankle support, you will need to be more careful on very uneven terrain, but provides more than enough for the occasional root, on a well worn hiking trail. Pretty spiffy shoes

I received the KEEN - MEN'S ZIONIC MID WP PrimRosw shoes for my husband. These are mid rise above your ankles shoes. My husband absolutely loves them. They’re so comfortable. He was in a bad work accident years ago and finding shoes that look cool and comfortable at the same time isn’t easy so when I was given the opportunity to try these shoes I jumped on that opportunity quick. These shoes are so vibrant which I liked. He said they were stiff the first couple of days but since breaking them in his feet feel like walking on a cloud. Rugged Hike

Took these out for a rugged day hike. 30 miles with a 20 lb ruck.Conditions: dry fall day 60 degrees. Dirt trail, crushed jagged rock, slick rock through a low stream, hard ball road.Performance: about 15 miles in they started to get a little rough around the ankle. Unlaced the top and continued on. Feet hurt pretty bad after the trek, no blisters. I wore mid height balega blister resist socks. Feet never felt too hot. For a first time out I thought they did well.Conclusion: probably won’t be my go to boot but got the job done, no major issues and with some more miles may become more comfortable. Overall very comfortable, light and cushy, did well on the slick rock, tread pattern is nice.
