I ordered a thermo cup for a friend, it was supposed to be a gift. There was no additional packaging during shipment, only the original box, which was badly wrinkled and had to be thrown away. The cup had to be given without the original box. The cup is difficult to open, it is not clear whether the lid should be unscrewed or just removed. Instructions are not attached to the cup, I had to search the Internet for information on how to use it.

Honestly I have had a lot of keep cups before. The OG plastic w/ rubber grip, glass w/ cork grip, the StarWars Vader longplay. But they all had one thing in common, they kept the drink warm but never for very long. Enter the KeepCup Thermal. Not only does it look absolutely amazing with a powdercoat-esque finish, but it keeps the drink warm for much of the (working) day with no questions asked. That being said, good luck not finishing your drink before then! This is still very much a to-go cup and not an adventure cup however. The lid is only affixed to the cup via a friction fit rubber seal, and the top cap is definitely not air tight. If you've ever accidentally overfilled these with a hot drink you'll know what I mean, I do not recommend trying that though. The ... MoreHonestly I have had a lot of keep cups before. The spill-proof claim is entirely situational as well, as a to-go mug that sits in your cup holder, you will never have an issue with it. But do not ever think you can put it in your bag and not end up having to turn in a coffee soaked report, or finding your dry clothes to have an, admittedly awesome, new coffee tie-dye. With all that being said, I don't think I would ever get anything different for my general day-to-day coffee cup needs. Everything about the cup is refined and works exactly as you would expect it. So, if you're looking for a day-to-day to-go cup, I highly recommend the KeepCup Thermal as it very easily could be the last cup you'll ever need.

Extremely durable, light and comes in great colours. The double wall keeps drinks warm for longer than the plastic ones but it doesn’t feel hot to hold. My favourite part is the swivel top which covers the sip hole very effectively . My 2nd cup as I lost the first one I had for over 8 years. Would recommend this brand as one of the best keep cup brands around

It’s not leak-proof, but it’s not a dealbreaker. What I like the most is that the parts from my other (glass and plastic) KeepCups fit with it. And if any part needs replacement, it’s easy and cheap to get them.It keeps the coffee warm long enough for me and the metal interior doesn’t seem to affect the taste.Once again, KeepCup demonstrates why they’re the baristas’ favourite cup!
These reusable cups are amazing. All the benefits of the regular KeepCups: standardised sizes the cafes prefer, robust, readily available replacement parts (if required). These thermal cups also insulate well. So no burnt fingers, and the hot drink stays hot from the cafe to work (or home). I've not timed it, but easily 20-30 minutes before the contents start to cool noticeably. Just a pity Myer doesn't stock the full range of colours - just the less exotic ones.
I have several of the glass/cork non-thermal 16 oz. Keep Cups, which I enjoy, but they do dissipate heat quickly. I purchased two of these thermal Keep Cup versions and they are fantastic! They keep my coffee warm for a very extended period - exactly what I wanted from the product. It does appear that coffee which drips onto the side of the mug discolors the mug (i.e., the drip streaks show up on the material used) - this has occurred on both my pink one and my darker blue'ish one. It's not a big deal to me, though it does annoy my partner. As another commenter has noted, this is not really a "throw in your backpack" type mug, given that the cap does not screw on. True. For that, I use a Fellow Carter Move Mug (16oz) or a large Stanley Thermos. But around the house ... MoreI have several of the glass/cork non-thermal 16 oz. A very nice travel cup! Keeps my coffee warm and is pleasant to drink from. One thing I don't like is that it doesn't seal like the original Keep Cups! The edges of the lid leak a little bit, not heaps, but it does leave drips in the car cup holder sometimes.
I have purchased numerous travel cups over time. Some did not keep the liquid not enough...became grungy after a short time...did not feel comfortable in your hand...were difficult to clean. When I watched a youtuber review the best travel coffee cups for 2019, I was intrigued. The keepcup was no. 1 for its many features. I do like the feel, weight and portability of the cup but have found that it will leak slightly on route to my work. I place it upright in a backpack side pocket. Aside from that one flaw, the cup is pleasant to use. My search continues for the ultimate travel cup with a sip style lid which is 100% leakproof.
I really like my Keep Cup. It keeps my coffee warm enough. It fits under the group-head (which was the main reason for the purchase), and I love the lid. It is not hermetic, but it does a good job at preventing spills. A well-design «tab» easily rotates from lid-closure position, to open and then to a remove position for cleaning. My Keep Cup makes me happy!
This was bought as a gift for me, but unfortunately I had to throw it away after just a couple of weeeks. The main issue was the lid had a very strong taste and smell of plastic which ruined the drink. Tried everything to remove it (washed it, let it soak, runs in the dishwasher, different soaps and detergents, etc) over the course of two weeks but nothing would lessen the impact.I also experienced other issues With it, the lid was hard to fit on, it easily leaked and dripped and I didn't think it kept my drink warm for as long as other double insulated options. It's definitely not great for being mobile, but I guess it could work as an option if it was for staying in the office or home. Nice looking cup though
