The features of this product that I like best areMaintains the temperature that I initially set Up It is whisper quietThe fridge is ideal for using the cheap , plastic baskets for differentiating product. We are very happy with our new Kelvinator. It reminds me of the fridge we had at home when I was a little girl. It had only 1 freezing box inside, but it was a lovely fridge. I feel very happy with our new fridge. And hope it continues to surprise us with its efficiency etc. So thanks Good Guys!!!

Awesome Capacity and Features

I'm more than happy with my purchase. Kelvinator is a brand I know I could trust and that was important to me because I'm on a limited income and I hope to have this fridge for many years. I know I can't expect it to last as long as my previous fridge, which had belonged to my grandparents and the thing was nearly as old as I am and that's saying something because I am well over 50.... they sure don't make them like they used to. The features of this fridge are very good with its adjustable shelving, including the door shelves, and the fact that I never need to worry about the freezer door hitting me in the back of the head due to the handy fail-safe that stops the door before it can get that close making you have to push it to close it. The features of this fridge are very good with its adjustable shelving, including the door shelves, and the fact that I never need to worry about the freezer door hitting me in the back of the head due to the handy fail-safe that stops the door before it can get that close making you have to push it to close it. No more surprises. The capacity of the fridge and freezer are great, plenty of room to suit the needs of most families. One aspect I was a little disappointed in is that there is not a dedicated nor molded storage for eggs. Why companies feel this is not needed is beyond me. Still, I kept the egg trays out of the old fridge and they actually fit into the shelves in the door of the new so problem solved for me. I did notice in some of the other reviews for this fridge, which I read before going ahead and making my purchase, that some mentioned having difficulties opening and closing the vegetable crisper. I found that they must be doing it incorrectly as you need to lift the crisper bin up at a slight angle before pulling it out or pushing it closed. If you do this you won't have any issues with it going out or in smoothly. I hope this little tip helps those who have been struggling with the crisper binAll in all, my opinion is money well spent.

Bad design, hate this fridge

I bought this fridge originally in June 2020 and hated the crisper from the start. It fell off the runner all the time. Seems like it wasn't made wide enough for the fridge so it falls off the runner and then parts of the runner have broken off. I had to have this fridge replaced with another one the same as it stopped cooling after 18 months. The new one had exactly the same issue with the crisper and it has frustrated me no end for the last 12 months. Now the crisper front has broken off and it only runs on one runner due what I already mentioned about the size of it in comparison to the fridge. I do not recommend this product at all.

Fails within three months

Was quite impressed when getting the fridge, great space, glass shelves and kept everything fresh. Now, coming to it’s third month, problems from previous models (which I thought would have been resolved) begin surfacing: 1. Frost begins in freezer. Initially though, no big deal, I can live with that. 2. Fridge compartment isn’t as cold as it once was. Can’t live with this, it’s likely the fan has failed to bring cold air down and a sign the motor is on its way out of its overworking itself. I’ve read before technicians ask you to turn off the machine and leave for 48-72 hours to resolve, but with a full fridge and freezer, you’re at the mercy of consuming or disposing $100’s of food without any compensation for a major inconvenience. Faulty fridge

I brought a fridge on 5th October 2022 from good guys and it arrived on Friday 7th October 2022. We read all the instructions and turned on the fridge. After a week, we started to notice the fridge not cooling like our previous fridge. So increased the temperature to see if that will work. Still after a few days later the chicken was soft in the freezer all the food in the fridge was all gone off. On Monday the 17th October 2022, we go back to good guys so that I can get a refund because it shouldnt be breaking down so quickly.

Great size

Halving recently purchased the Kelvinator 503 litre fridge I have been pleasantly surprised. The fridge itself is very spacious and fits a lot in. The freezer size is great.The crisper is a great size fitting a great deal more than I thought it would, the only thing you need to do is slightly lift the crisper draw for a smooth roll into place. The shelves in the door fit a great range of items in it the bottom one is great for water jugs or 2 litre bottles. It runs very quietly and looks great. The only thing I would have liked would have been an extra space or two for the shelves to have fitted into other than than I would definitely recommend this fridge for a family of four or more.

Kelvinator 540L top mounted fridge

I wish I had taken notice of many other reviewers. It was mentioned about the difficulty of the bottom fruit/vegie crisper being pulled out and returned. Those reviews were certainly correct. I'm just hoping I don't end up breaking it. The other thing is there is only one door shelf in the freezer. I like two. I have been caught out with both the fridge and freezer doors not closing when I shut them which means I turn around and either door is still open. I now slam them shut when I remember because the open sound is so quiet I can hardly hear it. If children were in the family I reckon they would be constantly told ( SHUT THE DOOR ). Wish I had never bought it.

Old fashioned fridge does the job

Works okay. Was a little slow to cool down initially.Plenty of space. Replaced a Kelvinator Opal. Very similar. Wide drawer not great like everyone says, but hey, overall it works. The variation in shelving heights isn't that great. Opal was better. The doors require quite a bit of force to open using the recessed handles. Probably wouldn't recommend it for someone with arthritis. Makes a beeping noise if you leave the door open for a while. It was a good price.What made me choose it was the low tech nature of it. What was annoying was the delivery. It was to include the removal of the old fridge. But because the old fridge had handles the guys refused to take it. Very Disappointing

I purchased this product to replace an old large pigeon pair in my garrage as its just 2 people at home now. You know, smaller, more energy efficient. The first one the fridge part worked well but the freezer section wouldn't freeze at all. I phoned The Good Guys and they were great about it, no hassle delivered a replacement and took the 1st one away. The second fridge would only get to -3. Cold enough to freeze the ice cube tray but not enough to freeze a lot of foods. I phoned The Good Guys again and again they were great and swapped it out to another fridge with no drama. The third fridge is another brand, not Kelvinator. Very pleased with the entire experience.

Very big inside, easy to keep clean and very efficient. It's perfect for our needs as a family of three having just welcomed our first child. The shelves are able to be moved to suit individual needs and it has a defrost cycle that we were not aware of when purchasing. I would recommend this fridge over others, white is very easy to keep clean, and the fridge itself is not easily dented or marked. 10/10! The sales team was very helpful, they answered all questions and helped us with our finance options, the entire process was quick and easy, and the team were happy to help st any time.
