A lightweight carbon steel wok finished with a three layer non-stick coating designed for stir-frying at high temperatures and with less oil. Coated inside and out to provide a robust sealed coating for long-lasting endurance. The flat base ensures the wok is well-balanced so doesn't topple over when sat on the hob. Since it is a non stick wok I can't use any scrub or strong acidic detergent to remove them either, only can try with sponge and normal dish washing detergent.The burnt residuals only accumulate and now I can't use the wok at all after 3 times.

After two uses on a standard gas hob, the exterior of the wok was pockmarked due to small, circular shapes of the coating flaking off. The size of the wok is great for smaller meals, but I returned it because the exterior coating should remain intact.

After first time of use the bottom was scratched and coating was peeling. After second use the cooking surface was discoloured and looked burnt. I didn't use excessive heat and have not had this problem with previous woks.

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this product. The pan looks and feels great and I had high expectations since Ken Hom had given his name to it but after only 3 months, with less than 10 uses the non stick surface is burnt and coming away.
Purchased this. Used first time and found the chicken stuck to the bottom Second time I found a layer of black carbon on the wok which I can’t remove. Also found it moves too easily on my induction hob. Disappointed buyer
Very pleased with this wok. Bought it to replace a ten year old Ken Hom wok, and hoping it will last as long. Non stick coating works well. Wok gets very hot, and can burn food, so I find I need to use it on a lower heat than expected. The wok is a little heavy but the second handle is helpful. I’ve used it a couple of times and I’ve found that the bottom of the wok has stained already a little, but I found the same with my previous wok.
Heats up real quick but non stick coating has come off in patches with every wash. Cheap wok with a chef name to it. Don't waste your money.
Heats up beautifully, but after the third use the non stick coating started to peel away. Never used on very high heat or cleaned in the dishwasher.David Jones refunded without any question.Shame, because otherwise it was good.
the problem with this wok is that its very thin and lacks a proper base for heat induction stove. As a result it depends on high heat to overcome its lack of heat retention, even then the sides of the wok is no where the temperature of the base and the base end up getting burned.
So bought this yesterday as I was looking for a nice heavy wok after trying to make some authentic Chinese food. It's heavy but manageable so it feels better quality than the thin ones. Second handle makes transfering food safe and easy. I was able to stir with two spoons and without holding the handles which made it safe and steady. Although I used bamboo spoons, after ones use the non stick coating came away. Food was slightly crisper than I'd of liked. I'm going to wash it and see if I can still safely use it without the coating otherwise it's going back. Which would be a shame as it's a decent, stable heavy wok.
