It is a nice upgrade from my old coffee maker. This one comes with a water filter that is easy to replace. I’m not sure yet I if I like the pot making sounds like the microwave when the coffee is done brewing. Otherwise I will be happy to recommend this coffee maker.

The coffee pot itself works well, the done brewing beep is a little on the loud side. The one thing that was disappointing was that the silver part in the front of the maker, where it says Kenmore, the word Kenmore is completely crooked and off at a slant. We did not notice it until after we used it for the first time. Not worth cleaning, drying, repacking and shipping because of the flaw. It is again disappointing though.

Got this to replace a COOKS coffee maker that was almost ten years old. This one not only brews a pot very quickly, but it brews it very evenly for a much better flavor than my old Mr. Coffee ever did. Very happy with this purchase.
➡️ The warming plate stays on so the carafe must be set aside until plate turns off.➡️ If you want to turn the warning plate off, one must UNPLUG and RE-plug the coffee maker. This results in the settings being lost. The instructions clearly state - “to turn off warning plate, unplug”➡️ There is a nice blue light that comes on when the coffee is ready. HOWEVER, the blue light is inside the water Reservoir - In the BACK.➡️ The top opening of the reservoir is so small, that it’s hard to pour water in, without spilling it.THIS item will be returned
I purchased this exact model from Kmart over 12 years ago and mine still works fine! I love it! The stainless steel is starting to rust a little though, in places... not too badly. You can buy replacement charcoal filters online. The built-in filter is great, but I still line it with paper cone filters so I don't have to clean grounds out each time. The only thing I could do without is the automatic two-hour shut off. I drink too slowly for that. ;-) Great coffee maker! I'm buying it again!
This a a very nice looking coffee maker that works great. I like having the option of using paper filters or the reusable filter. Note that this uses cone filters rather flat filters. The 1-4 cup option is a nice feature.
BEEPS! SO! LOUD! MY! HEAD! HURTS! AND! MY! NEIGHBORS! ARE! COMPLAINING!Oh, and it also as a lip on the decanter so you can't pour out all the coffee/water.Well, and also they didn't even send us the right coffee maker. I ordered the red, but they sent stainless steel instead.
It is a perfect slim size. The beeping when the coffee is finished is a bit loud especially since I wake up way before the rest of the family. Programming works nicely. I do find the spot to pour in the water a little small so I always pour outside of it on accident. It makes great coffee and taste great when you use the 1-4 cups option!
I like the looks of it and it seemed like a great deal for the price but once it arrived, I couldn't find the Bold brew button. The instruction say to use the 1-4 cup option but that make it brew faster so saying it has a bold brew option is misleading. We like our coffee bold and our last Kitchen Aid had a Bold button option. Yes, it takes about twice as long to make a pot of Bold coffee, but that's ok. Anything good is worth waiting for. Buy A Cuisinart.
