Kenwood Attachment Rotary Slicer/Grater KAX643ME

The original Kenwood mixer was expensive and I must say also really good. However, the original ring which secures the mixing bowl to the mixer body split after a few uses. Possibly made from sugar and spit. Kenwood does not have the ring on their website and would require an expensive new bowl. I went to espares and there was the ring for an excellent price. Ordered and delivered quickly via Royal Mail. Excellent 5 Star service and happily recommended.

Good Points: This worked well with carrots and perhaps will give more options if you experiment with different foods/vegetables that are firmer in texture to give the outcome you may want.They are well made and sturdy.Improvement Points: I found that the cutter made the vegetables mushy and also stuck between the cutter attachment and the main machine. This wasted food and made it difficult to use.I have only attempted to use the attachments twice which is a waste.

I have only used this once, to grate carrots to dehydrate them. I used the 2nd grater and was very pleased with the results. However, I found a couple of tablespoons of carrot had somehow got to the back of the grater. Not sure if this was operator error or the machine. Will have to do more to find out.
