Missing a spanner that the instruction book included as one of the parts. Spanner is needed to adjust height of whisk or K attachment. You dont know if you need it until theres a knocking sound when you use it or its too high up and cant mix. Thankfully I didnt need to adjust anything. After two phone calls to the Good Guys who contacted the Kenwood rep I have been told that they will send me a spanner in the next 4 to 6 weeks. My first stand mixer and couldn't be happier. The warranty sold me, 5 years compared to the Sunbeams 1 year. They are all made in China these days so the warranty is important. I bought it mainly for pizza and bread dough. Bought the food processor attachment and it works really well. Would recommend this unit, seems to be well made and powerful.

This Mixer is Priced wrong, it may seem on special but it isn't if compared to other "Stores" we made the mistake and seen its $299 now, read model its for the 800w classic, other stores have same box, same items. For $299, The full Price of $449 should of been for the 1000w model. Very disappointed we got sucked into this advertisement by Myer.

I have downsized to this from a bigger breville purchased about ten years ago. I much prefer this kenwood. It works just as well as my more expensive breville but is lighter to manage and fits in my cupboard,unlike my old big breville. So far Ive made cakes, pavlova and whipped cream all to an excellent standard. Wont be buying the larger models again. This size is perfect.
Really great first stand mixer. I have been using a hand mixer for the past year but have started to make a few more cakes so wanted to upgrade. I spent a long time researching the best mixer and reading reviews and this was one of the best.The machine is a little loud when turned on the high speeds but its bearable.Ive only used the whisk and K-beater so far but have loved it all.
My second Classic Kenwood. Bought my first in 1970 and it is still in slow but going condition and badly in need of new brushes (which I am advised are no longer available). I figured that after all this time and the great 52 years of service it had earned its retirement. If the this one is as good it will outlast me!!
My new Kenwood is too weak and takes much longer to mix and far less effective than the old ones. It is rubbish. I have owned and constantly used a small Kenwood mixer for 56 yrs and a larger one for 25yrs, using both constantly and could not fault them except for them moving during use and falling of the bench. Which is why I brought the new small one and really find it unsatisfactory.
Great mix master! I purchased on recommendation of a longtime Kenwood user. Mixing bowl and mechanism great - picks up mixture from edges well. Overall dimensions lower in height than most other brands so excellent for fitting in e siting cupboard space. Purchased on sale so excellent price. First use was to make a pavlova - turned out perfectly! Very happy with product.
My first stand mixer. I'm very pleased with it. It does vibrate abit at high speeds and consequently move a little, you just need to watch it. Other reviews mentioned it being really noisy, I haven't found the noise to be louder than expected. Bowl is a good size. Mixes well. If I had the money I would have bought a bigger one that can operate the food processpr attacemt but still pleased this model can have various attachments.
Seems good so far. I got a bit confused about what the attachment outlets at the front & top were for (I hadn’t bought extra attachments) & it seems to be missing the adjustment tool. But the K blade didn’t need adjustment so that’s not a problem so far. Mainly intuitive to use as my first mixer, some accidental use of pulse mode as I twisted the knob automatically to the right.
