Very easy to use and install. It has more features than i will ever need. The sound quality is excellent, looks great and the Apple Carplay is just perfect. Highly recommend this product.

Got this on special for $450 and it was money well spent. It has all the features you pay thousands of dollars for in a new car. Apple car play works perfectly but wasnt able to get Android Auto to work. May be cause my phone sux or android in general sux. Online they say you need to have Anroid Marshmellow so no idea what that is. Other than that being able to adjust the speakers individually is freaking awesome for tuning the sound. Ive basically replicated the sound in my 2017 Audi without amps just with a couple of $80 6x9s that I picked up on special. Also purchased a $59 sound deadening material and sound deadened key parts of the front doors and back parcel tray. The Kenwood was easy to install myself to replace the standard radio in the Focus, when used with the appropriate Aerpro adapter. Works great despite being about the cheapest stereo available with Android Auto.

Had this unit professionally installed in my 2005 Forester. It has a good range of options for sound equalisation and the plug in carplay android function works well. I can bear other people clearly when I call and they can hear me.Draw backs are that the volume control are two small arrows on the far left hand side of the unit. You need to press them repeatedly for volume to go up or down and they're quite small and a bit of a stretch. Other point is that the sound quality for listening to music on Spotify is no better than the previous head unit (factory one). Would've been better to install some different speakers.
Installed this unit, all features worked except bluetooth. A couple days later the screen has now turned off but the buttons light up and phone can still charge. Hopefully swap it over for the same unit as im happy with the actual unit if it works fine.
I purchased this unit and had it professionally installed, and was initially quite happy with the unit. Within a couple of months it was picking up static often near any traffic lights and overhead powerlines, and the volume would only go to about 30% as maximum. I had to remove the unit to take it back to the retailer. They sent it back to Kenwood. It took six weeks for Kenwood to advise that the unit was faulty and would be replace - SIX WEEKS is poor customer service. It's now close to seven weeks and I'm still waiting on the replacement. Kenwood, dissapointing.
Very nice head unit with all the features you could need. Massive improvement in sound quality on my Amarok, very happy. At the sale price I got it ($419), absolute steal and highly recommmend. The screen is a little bit dim, I'm going to look through the settings to see if I can change that. Android auto works great with my Pixel 6.
Installed into a Toyota Yaris whilst retaining steering wheel controls. Unit boots up fast and is very responsive. User interface is not very user friendly and screen has a very low resolution. Viewing angles can suffer also because of the TN LCD panel.
I bought this online (along with the ranger fascia kit from another supplier) and its the most I've ever spent on a head unit. Was very excited to get it. I'm a sparky and enjoy upgrading sound systems. Its not my first, won't be the last.Took 2 days pulling out the dash and reassembling all the bits and pieces. I got it all plugged in and tested it. All good. Put the dash back in then turned car on again and the settings were gone from head unit. It was back in demo mode. Tried a few times to retain settings and it just wouldn't. I removed the dash again to get to wiring and I checked the unswitched power wasn't dropping. It stayed on the whole time but head unit reverted to demo and lost all my settings. Bluetooth microphone to iPhone would only work for 1 sec on a call. Took back to have fixed. Now although mic works, steering wheel controls that previously working are no longer working. Apparently Store tried to contact Kenwood but have been ignored (at least that is what we have been told) At this stage, do not recommend this unit at all
