KENZO Flower 100ml EDT For Women by KENZO

I received a sample complimentary from #Macy's and I truly live this perfume! It reminds me of baby soft with a floral feminine mature twist! I sprayed myself early in the morning and by that night I could still smell it a good 3 ft from my wrist!! I find this the perfect fall and winter scent and would work well for a work day or playful date. I highly recommend because if your sensitive to floral scents but love them this is totally wearable and does not give me a headache like most floral! It's very soft and sensual

The scent is very pleasant and is not too strong and does not produce an immediate headache. The first scent I noticed was powdery. I tend not to be a fan of many fragrances and have very few in rotation but this Kenzo fragrance is very nice and a great summer scent. It is light and definitely has notes of powdery floral and a bit of vanilla. It does not have an overly musky or heavy tone by any means and smells fresh and sweet without smelling like a perfume counter. I found the fragrance lasted well on skin and smelled better with time once it has time to react to warmth and body chemistry. I love floral scents but some end up smelling like a sachet from Grandma's underwear drawer. This does not. I'd describe it as floral, fresh, and youthful. Perfect spring scent as it is not at all heavy or knock you down overpowering. Bonus points for pretty and innovative bottle design.

Opening the box, I was so excited to see a beautiful glass stem... but the flower is just printed onto one side of the glass. It looks incredibly cheap and tacky in person. I think I was extra disappointed by this because it looks so beautiful in the photos! In general, I love both lemon and rose, but I didn't love this. Similar to the packaging, the scent sounds amazing but doesn't meet expectations in person. It's a very strong, somewhat offensive scent. The rose is less prominent than I expected. It's more of a powdery musk with strong citrus and a hint of rose. Something feels really off about it. It does last the entire day. The scent stayed pretty consistent throughout the entire wear. You definitely only need a tiny bit. I just wish the scent was more balanced!

This review is for the original Flower by Kenzo EDT, not the 2021 relaunch. This is the first full sized fragrance I ever purchased for myself, and I still enjoy the smell to this day. It reminds me of freshly cut violets. It is floral powdery, simple but beautiful in its simplicity. It doesn’t have any distinct phases, just violet from start to finish. A paired back version of the EDP, it lacks some of the complexity of the original, but I enjoy that about it. Some days I just want to smell of violets. It has good projection on me at the start but that wears off reasonably quickly. It stays on the skin longer than I expected for an EDT, though. Overall, I’ve moved on to new favorites but I still come back to this on certain days.

At last! The Perfect Scent

Hubby received a small sample of this whilst getting me another (very expensive) perfume from a well known luxury store. Turns out I preferred the sample. Decided to buy Flowers by Kenzo from this company. Not disappointed. I just wished it would smell on my skin for longer than a few hours...I guess by definition of being of being an eau de toilette it can't. Smell is fantastic. Even my young sons comment on it and they are a very critical lot. Will definitely buy again.

my everyday scent

I received a sample of this and wanted to purchase them online. I’m glad I went down to the store to try them individually bcs this doesn’t smell the same as the EDP. Has a powdery scent which I find it perfect as an everyday scent when you are out casually or to work. It’s not overwhelming, just nice to keep you smelling fresh. This one never make me sneeze no matter how much I sprayed. Gonna repurchase once I run out
