Detangles, cleans, and doesn't strip my hair in a harsh way. i use it on all my clients including myself. works great on all hair textures. I would suggest using a generic shampoo to wash away heavy product or product build-up if you haven't washed you har after a long while. This shampoo is very delicate and you would have to do more washes to get the desired affect if you don't "pre-poo" first.

First off, let me suggest that anyone using this start with the SMALLEST amount possible. A little goes a long way, trust me. I have tried another KeraCare product and loved it. I am not a bit disapponted with this one. I have very dry hair, and I happen to be trying to revert back to natural after using a temporary straightening system. I've been washing my hair with a Castile soap and oil recipe to clarify my hair (and get rid of that temp system). EA clarifying shampoo can be drying - especially when using it a lot like I have been. When I put this on my hair, I used way too much and oversaturated it. If, like me, you over-use this, it will weight the hair down and make it feel heavy with buildup. Once I rinsed my hair clean, I sectioned my hair into fours and applied just the smallest amounts of the hair milk to each section. I was careful to work with my fingertips to work the product in from root to tip. That worked out really well. Of course, I applied to my towel-dried hair, then after it dried, I applied a little more product to the ends of my hair and massaged it in. I am very happy with this. I will be getting more of it as needed, and I'll be checking out other products by the brand. Since it takes so little of this (even for my dry type of hair), I think that folks with finer hair should be super stingy when applying. I will attach a photo of how much I used on each section of my hair once I figured out how much was too much! Just apply in dabs, then work it through.

I've struggled with finding the right products to help with my damaged and dry hair for years. I was introduced to this by a new hair stylist and I absolutely love it now! Great product, really helps to lock in moisture. I'm always stocking up!

This sounded like a fab buy. Once I opened it I wish I hadn't. It doesn't smell very nice. If you're use to sweet smelling products for you hair, this is far from it. I also found it to be very drying, (maybe due to the glycerin) I added extra water to the product just to get a moistured look in my hair. It's a semi thick consistency of a yellow shading. I love this stuff! It makes my hair shiny and is a must have if you twist your hair with their curling custard or use the curl defining gel. You need this to soften them up the next day. I love it.

I've tried at least 10 products to put in damp hair after a shower to tame my frizz. None of them really did too much for my damaged and very dry ends but this stuff! I heard about it from a youtuber and I'm so glad I tried it out because my hair looks great just letting it dry naturally. I can finally get my hair healthy again because I don't need heat to style my hair with this product. Definitely buy it if you had the same issues. You will notice a big difference.

I have type 4a/4b hair and I really like this product. I’ve been using it consistently for 8 months now and I didn’t want to love it, but I do! I’ve tried lots of natural and more expensive hair milks and no other hair milk, in my opinion, provides the amount of shine and moisture that this product does. It doesn’t leave residue, just shiny and healthy hair. People have complained about the smell, but it’s very light with a tiny hint of mint so I don’t mind it. Five stars from me. If you hair is fine, you should use less as a little bit goes a long way.

The natural textures hair milk is great for keeping natural afro hair moisturised. It doesn’t leave residue which is a plus and I will recommend.
