This shampoo has convinced me from the first application. Contrary to my fears, it foams up wonderfully when you first apply it with wet hands. The hair has a great shine and looks and feels less dry on/off. Also my roots do not become greasy faster than before - I can only recommend it for unruly and rather dry hair. Since I have no volume anyway due to my many hairs I cannot judge whether it is a problem...

Over the last three years I've had numerous Goldwell Kerasilk Keratin treatments and loved how smooth my normally dry and frizzy looked. To make the treatments last as long as possible, I've always used Goldwell's Kerasilk Control shampoo and conditioner with great results. When I ran out of shampoo I ordered the new Kerasilk Smoothing Shampoo (I still have the old Kerasilk Control conditioner so haven't used the new conditioner yet). My hair seemed fine after the first use but then got dryer and dryer as I used it. After using half the bottle, my hair is like straw. I haven't changed anything else in my routine. I am so disappointed... would've given 0 stars if possible. Goldwell, please bring back the Kerasilk Control line!
