Kevin Murphy Rough.Rider Strong Hold. Matte Clay 100g

Thus a great little, compact, pocket sized hair product. You just take a little in your hand and rub it around then wet your hands a bit and spread it throughout your hair. It leaves your hear smelling great and not rough. You can still run your hands through your hair after using this product which is great! I recommend it to any guy looking for a smooth hold with a light scent and easy to wash off product.

Defective product

I’ve been using Roughrider for a few years without problem. Recently I purchased a container of it and found that it has small bits in it like grains of sand size. When using it on my hair it looks like I’ve got sand or dandruff in my hair. I reached out to the company and because I did not buy it online they will not replace the product. Won’t be buying it again.

Fantastic good

It's the best I've tried. None of the clays even look like this. And I tried different things: Hanz de Fuko CLAYMATION, Moroccanoil Texture Clay, Shear Revival American Gardens Clay Pomade, Shear Revival Northern Lights Matte Paste, Uppercut Clay, Uppercut Matte Paste... and about a dozen other things.Amazing application, distribution, shaping, beautiful matte finish, excellent plastic hold, the fragrance is just wow... everything is very cool.

Far from Night Rider and Impossible to Use

Man, I totally thought this was Night Rider. Same package, same look, just one word different that I didn't notice (my bad). However, I did try to use it. Unfortunately, this stuff is impossible to work with. I can't shape my hair at all. It just grabs the first clump and sticks it straight. I takes about 3 shampoos to get it out of my hair, so it's even awful after the fact. It went straight to the trash. I'm not sure what type of hair or style this would be good for. Maybe making your hair like a straight board?

Fast shipping & good product

Very fast shipping & I like the Kevin Murphy products. The "wax" holds well & is still "malleable" even after hours of wear ! Good product 10/10 !

Great Product

I have tried all three of the styling products and this one provides a really good hold with a more natural look. It doesn't set with any shine or feel like there is sticky residue in your hair.

Not great

So far my experience with is product hasn't been great. It's extremely thick and hard to spread on my hands. It starts to set immediately and it seems like it leaves a white powder cast on my hair. Also it doesn't wash away with shampoo. I have to do multiple washes. Perhaps I'm using it wrong?

The Best!!

Don't be put off by 1st appearances once you start to understand how to apply you'll never look back. And please be guided, less is very much more!. No more the a little finger nail amount and then work through. Too much clay leaves the hair appearing greasy.It really is the best after trial and error.

Would love to review it, IF I HAD IT!

I ordered this on July 31st; the day I got my hair cut. It is now August 17th and I still do not have it. When I reached out to ask where my order was, they told me their safety measures are the cause for slow delivery. Yet, I placed and order from another Austin, Texas based company after I ordered from Milk + Honey and I got that order immediately. So, chances are I’m not going to waste my time ordering from here again. Thanks for nothing.

good for fine hair

the best product out there. while other hair gel makes my hair greasy and loses the texture within a few hours, the rough rider can maintain its matte finish and strong hold for hours!
