This fridge is well thought out and designed. The 2 bins are a good size and the overall weight for the fridge is just light enough for 1 person to carry. The electrical connections are solid. The Bluetooth connectivity and app is great. The voltage and temp graph an especially nice touch.The only let down is the cover. I feel it is not insulated enough. I also made a small tear in the cover when installing it. The material seems very thin and not very strong. The magnets are the edges are a great idea if you are going to use this fridge around camp and in an enclosed space but they don't hold when travelling on the back of a ute.

After watching several YouTube reviews I purchased the 75L dual zone fridge specifically for trip to Fraser Island earlier this year where we would be off the grid for a least a week at a time and wanted something that was large enough to keep our frozen goods frozen and my beers cold of which it did both admirably. I could have it running all day and night off a 105ah lithium battery with very little power usage. Although the Bluetooth temp control wasn't working at the time of purchase once I notified Kickass of this they were in contact with me almost immediately. The app has since been updated and the fridge works as it is supposed to. I would recommend this fridge/freezer for anybody who is in the market for a modern sturdy fridge at a good price.

Been wanting a KA Fridge for so long so when it went to $849.00 I jumped on it. On pickup it was the new Generation 2 fridge they now selling. New Gen2 JUST fits in my camper by a few mm's length wise, but plenty room vent sides. Nice NEW lid reversal feature to swap the lids over to opening to the other side. Fridge bag is not like old one, it's all white lettering. I fixed this by painting the logo red like the older covers, much better now by a 1 million %. Fridge is awesome, less bits to go wrong ie. 12v cig outlets deleted. Better value at this new price, better internals with more copper etc. No regrets. Fantastic fridge.

The fridge freezer seems good value for money but both the cover and the app are disappointing.I spent over an hour trying to set up the app with no success, so I had to phone them the next day.I was told that there is two different apps (red and black). The black one is for the 75 litre. It would have been good to have been informed of this in the instructions and set up video.I downloaded the black one and it worked.All the app does is tell you the temps and settings and is not interactive. It was superb.I’ve since installed it in my 4WD and fixed a solar panel to the roof. In love with this fridge! Was looking for months and purchased this one on the spot as soon as I found it. No regrets!Used as home fridge for more than 2 months without skipping a beat. Otherwise is on the car 24/7 and never turns off, super efficient on solar (purchased kickass battery with it).Only downside out of whole package is the fridge cover (not even the fridge itself) the lid does not stay on when going higher speed, only a magnet holding on.11/10 stars. Would recommend to all friends and family.
I chose this fridge because it had very good reviews and was the biggest fridge that would fit our 2021 Stoney Creek SC-FF Gen2 camper trailer. I was very impressed with build quality, so solid and well designed. Was especially impressed that the baskets fit both zones and can be interchanged. The app was very easy to setup and use and was a great feature to have as the controller is obscured by the fridge slide on the camper so can use the app to change temps and monitor it. Have been using it for a month or so now and very impressed, it has worked flawlessly. This is a seriously good fridge/freezer, not the cheapest around but has the best features and is built to last. Highly recommended.
Great fridge in every way, just one small problem. The actual volume of the fridge is 67 litres. Look at the website, look at the compartment dimensions, do your maths. Kickass advise : 'As with many fridges on the market, the fridge volume is calculated from the inner dimensions but includes the inner separator wall between the two compartments.When including this middle divider, the fridge volume adds to 75L in total.As you may find with many fridges in the industry, this is how they are rated in size and is an industry norm.'Yeah right. The fact remains that the combined volume of the two bins is 67litres.
For years me and my wife had been using a 40L engel fridge which is still great, just too small. Our family has grown and we went on a trip with the 40L fridge and it was just way too small, so we grabbed the kickass 75L fridge.It's seriously the perfect fridge. Fits perfectly in my canopy, runs really efficiently (aux battery charges off a 10A MPPT solar reg and thats IT, battery hardly gets low at all). The quality of the construction is awesome, the extra USB and ciggy ports are great. The 2 separate lids are great, as are their latches.The baskets fit cans really well. I think i counted 15 cans in the bottom basket of the smaller zone.Fits perfectly on my clearview 220 slide. I am happy enough but on my draw slide in a Toyota Hilux (canopy) the freezer will clear my canopy door when pulled out but the fridge part does not meaning I can only open it half way which is a little inconvenient and also means I need to take baskets out as cannot pull them out unless door is fully open. Not a huge issue as it's usable and the baskets (IMO) just take up precious internal space really. One of the lower baskets has handles that are bent inward and makes fitting a large bottle of soft drink or milk inconvenient. I just leave a single upper basket on the fridge side as it can slide left or right and nothing in the freezer side and that works best for me.Freezer works well tho, kept a bucket of ice for drinks frozen all weekend so that is exactly what I wanted. And for anyone not able to find the info on this site, you CAN switch off either of the sides if you do not need it which is great when you just need a small cooler you can use the smaller side. Both can be either fridge or freezer so also possible to make it all 1 fridge if no freezer is needed.Have had an error already, ambient temp too high due to a 40c day and being in a closed canopy so be aware on hot days to check it regularly. Not a fault of the unit, should have had the canopy window open a bit but was testing how it would go on a really hot day, no different than any other fridge there.While the app is handy to make adjustments the Bluetooth range is pretty poor. Can struggle to even connect between my cab and the back of the use where it is and it's in a fiberglass canopy, if you have a metal canopy then probably wouldn't connect at all. Would also like to see an alarm beeper or something when an error occurs.So all in all I am really impressed with the quality of this fridge compared to many others I looked at around a similar price point (Oz Trail, Kings....). It has all the features you need, includes a quality cover and is built to withstand the demands of mobile use. I live in Adelaide and was wrapped they have a distribution point where I was able to collect to save on shipping. Not much I would change if asked other than possibly another Anderson plug on the other end to make flipping it round the other way easier but a simple extension will suit.
