When it arrived I put straight into the car. I kept an eye on for the next few days and I can say that it hardly lost any voltage with the fridge running 24/7 and the camp lights running at night for several hours. Highly recommended getting a KickAss battery. Built well and can handle the Aussie conditions.

I have fitted 2 of these great batteries behind the back seat of my TD5 Defender, on a stand that raises them above the seatbelt anchors. They drive my Kickass inverter to run my microwave oven!! I secured them by sacrificing 2 ratchet tie-down straps

Loved the service but the batterie didn’t last as long as I would have hoped forAs such I have ordered another one the same and will now run two!Could be more about me then the battery in fairness.. kickass was easy to deal with and the wed site was easy to navigate
This is an awesome battery for tight spaces... I mounted it inside a SCA ToolPro Safe plastic case with anderson plugs on the outside and a voltage meter - then I made a mounting point in the back of my ute. It is slim so doesn't take up a large footprint. Now I can take it in and out easily (apart from the heavy weight), and it's protected. It holds it's charge nicely, runs my fridge with no issues, and overall I couldn't be happier. I keep it topped up with a ctek charger, but will add a DC-DC charger to my ute soon. Thanks for providing a great battery in a different size to the normal brick :-)
So far, so good performance wise. However the package did arrive quite beaten up and had holes in it. Not exactly Kickass fault though. I also assume the bolts that go into the terminals fell out of the box during shipping. So I had to source my own bolts for the battery. However overall great product at a great price. Easy install with the dual battery kit.
What can I say. So easy to order, quick delivery, great price. Battery works well and the slimline shape fits perfectly between my fridge and side of the cargo bay. Great option for when you want a battery in a wagon cargo area and space is tight because your partner brings too much stuff. The cap over the terminals is a nice touch to avoid any nasty zappy problems if cargo moves around.
My friends all have Kickass products and recommended them highly and I now do also. Received the product in great time and the battery is honestly great. I am running a 70 litre fridge constantly and using the Kickass VSR with over ride switch connected to my main battery to my new Kickass battery and this also works perfectly. The VSR was so easy to set up and has saved me when I left my lights on one night and I was able to overide the VSR and start my ute from the Kickass battery. Thank you Kickass for your excellent service, and incredibly high quality products. Definitely recommend.
When I unpacked it had a damaged corner. it didn't seem to be detrimental to the function of the battery, so it has been installed in my caravan. we are going away in a few weeks so we will see if it does the job.
This is the second 120AH slimline that I've purchased. The first one lasted 4.5 years. It'll charge but when a load is applied it fails. I still give the battery 5 stars simply on its dimensions. It fits where I need it to and the battery tray works well. Hopefully, this one makes it to 5 years.
