Although the design is nice, it had certain flaws to it. The design is a simple sticker attached to the wood and started to peel as soon as i started to assemble it. Also, certain pieces felt like they didn’t quite fit. If the design didn’t peel it’d be better

Good sized dollhouse. It could be a little deeper, but my two year old loves it. The instructions are easy to understand. The only problem that I have with it, is a couple of pieces split some when putting it together. It still holds up fine. For the price, it's great. Comes with a lot of furniture. You just have to purchase dolls separately.

Abvery nice playhouse with accessories

Love this little wooden doll house and so does my grandbabies. It was easy to put together, but it did take a little time because I just used a regular screwdriver and I put it together by myself. I thought it came with a couple small dolls and a tiny wood pizza to put in the little oven, but I guess not. Either way I totally give these 5 stars and would recommend. It does come with accessories, and it is sturdy, 3 story high.

Adorable dollhouse perfect size for a 3 year old.

I bought this Chelsea dollhouse as a Christmas gift for my 3 year old granddaughters. It is absolutely adorable right down to the cute furniture for every room that is included. I am a 64 year old Nonna, and found the assembly instructions easy and straightforward with pictorial instructions. It took me about 40 minutes to assemble. Only tool needed was a Phillip's screwdriver. Since I have arthritis in my hands, i used a ratcheting Phillip's screwdriver. I also used a very short shaft regular sized handled Philip's screwdriver for the installation and attachment of two interior banisters . A nice feature in the assembly was the precise packaging and labeling of the screws. The heads of the screws are also color coated to match the dollhouse colors. In other words red screw head will be inserted so it blends with the red shingles, green over the grass area, white where the dollhouse paint is white. I'm sure you get the picture. It is really idiot proof.I found that all the holes for screws and pieces fit exactly. One piece of advice for novice installers is if instructions call for attaching a part with 3 or 4 screws, I found it best to attach all screws incrementally to hold in place to match all holes, then proceed to tighten all a bit at a time. This way everything lines up perfectly.Looking at other reviews, I saw some questions I'll address. There is a front door that opens and shuts. However, you do not see it on the website photos. It is located on the left side of the house on the short left end piece as the figures would enter the kitchen dining area. All windows, open and shut. This dollhouse comes with furniture for each room. All furniture is fully assembled with the exception of the piano which you will need to just pop on the legs. Most of the furniture is made out of wood with some having some plastic ( toilet seat) some bathtub trim. Oven door opens and toilet seat opens and shuts. Cute bed with attached matress with fabric. Sofa also has attached cushion. Furniture can be moved and arranged by your child. On the interior walls of the dollhouse are added room graphics like wallpaper and print of a refrigerator and chair and many other permanent room decor. But there is a movable wood table chair piano fridge bed tub toilet and more for child's pretend play.What you would consider the front of the house ( padt meant to go against your wall) it is plain white. All the design and colors ate located in the play portion of the house. Side walls inside and out, roof both sides and interior open portion of house. This dollhouse also has a cute patio and a patio umbrella.3 levels of play.I love the size of this house. It is NOT a 4 or 5 foot monstrosity !. It is what I consider a size to put on a table and is plenty large . Barbie dolls are TOO big for this house. The recommended doll size that fits best is 4 to 5 inches.The kidkraft dolls are cute, but in my opinion are very simplistic and not very realistic. Dolls do not come with this house, but furniture does. I looked high and low for the perfect figures so I hope my research will be of some benefit to others. My number one suggestion is the adorable HABA little friends figures. Children are about 4 inches, mom dad and grandparents are around 5 inches there are babies that are a bit smallerAll are in perfect scale to this house. They are bendable and fit dollhouse furniture perfectly. They can be found under HABS little friends on Amazon or on HANA website. They are a bit pricey but worth it. Please note I have no connection with that company. It is just my opinion and feel they compliment the Chelsea dollhouse perfectly.Another suggestion is the calico critters . They will work but a bit undersvale for house. I prefer to use a human family. But if your children have calico critters they are cute and would work.I noticed a few people had a complaint about the 2 staircases fitting properly in the house. I found that if you place the top lip of the staircase exactly where it belongs , you then need to sled the base into the 2 available hole slots to secure. You do need to tightly push them where they beling ... they will then snap tightly into the base.I thought the price for the Chelsea dollhouse $54,99 on Amazon site with free shipping was very fair. In my opinion it is a very sturdy house. The design is so very cute and I am impressed with the assembly easy instructions. The size is very ample but not overly huge like some dollhouses.

Shipping was messed up - I ordered a doll family along with the house and spent almost two weeks chasing with no phone number and an email that wasn’t working. I finally received an email just before Christmas that this was actually never in stock and I would get a refund.However this absolutely ruined Christmas for me. The doll house was the main gift and my daughter couldn’t even play with it for 4 days until I could get to a shop and purchase dolls for the house.So deeply disappointed and lots of tears were spilled I was dreaming of my little girl opening and playing g with her house on Christmas Day . I ordered early with a guarantee the item would be delivered within 13 business days of ordering.

Love KidKraft

This was the 2nd item I bought from KidKraft and have been very pleased with both. Quality is great, price is good and assembly is easy. My 2 year old granddaughter loves it and has played with it everyday. I did need replacement parts, 1 on each item. Their website to do it online would never let me finish the order, but I called their customer service and they solved the problem. I received the parts in 2-3 days. The wood was much more sturdy then expected and the furniture is very cute!

Perfect playhouse for young children!

Cute dollhouse for the price. Made from cheap material but it is still pretty sturdy. My 3 years old who starts to have an imaginary friends loves it so much. Easy to put it together with a hand screwdriver. I gave it 4 stars because some of those pre-drilled holes weren’t not properly either drilled or aligned with other holes so you would need to force the screws in.

We were able to find the perfect sized dolls for it (Sparkle Girlz Cupcake dolls)- they fit 'just right' in all of the beds, chairs, couches, bathtubs, etc. Assembly was simple (although we probably should have started before midnight on Christmas Eve!), took minimal tools, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It sits in her bedroom on top of her Nantucket Toy Bench (also KidKraft!), and all of the dolls and furniture pieces go in the drawer right underneath. This dollhouse takes up very little space, but has room for HUGE imaginations and hours and hours of fun! Smooth assembly, adorable details, excellent quality!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. My husband and I assembled it a couple of days before the big day and we're both pleasantly surprised at how smoothly the process went! It is well built, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow, and it took much less time than I thought it would - about 40 minutes. The bright colors and quality are perfect for little kids' hands and imaginations! I love the little furniture - it is sturdy, has cute moving doors, and great detail. I had an issue with a missing part and the process to order a replacement was SO fast and convenient! The customer service alone would be reason enough for me to continue purchasing KidKraft toys, not to mention the excellent quality and appeal these toys have for kids.
