Kiehl's - Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing & Dark Circle-Diminishing Vitamin C Eye Serum - 15ml

Add me to the list of people who are randomly having adverse reaction to this product. I am on bottle number 2 so it's not a "new" product for me. What is notable is the first bottle was purchased directly from Kiehl's and the second bottle was purchased form Sephora - not sure if the product differs because of this but I wanted to point it out.The product does feel creamy & moisturizing going on but that's where my positive words end. The skin around my eyes would become tight almost like someone took Elmer's glue and put it on my skin. No kidding. My skin would actually be so tight my wrinkles looked even worse. I thought it was a new blush palette or the eye cream in combo with my other face products. After looking at the reviews on Kiehl's & Sephora's sites, it seems to me something either changed with the product or the product is flawed.I DO NOT recommend this at all since a) now my circles do not look any better and b) now my eyes actually look aged more if that's even possible. I am just hoping stopping this product & finding a better one will help the damage it's done.Zero stars if I could!!

I've used this cream for a couple months. I kept getting swelling, itchy, dryness, and puffiness above my eye and would have to use hydrocortisone to help. That would work but then I forget not to put it over my eye and the same would happen again. I kept using it because it actually helped my under eye brighten up, smoothing out fine lines, and with swelling. I used it again last night over my eyes and woke up this morning finally realizing that it's this cream that's doing my upper eyes damage. I don't have sensitive skin but the eyes are sensitive in general. I don't recommend this cream for all around the eye. For $50 I expect it to moisturize not dry me out and make me look older. I'm definitely not the only one.

I received this free and have been using it twice a day for 2 months. I noticed surprisingly quick results - my eye bags and hyperpigmentation got noticeably smaller/ lighter in about 2 weeks. However, I haven't noticed continued improvement. It has a nice smooth, non- oily texture that makeup applies well over - no piling or creasing. I will continue to use it before makeup application until I run out. However, I'll stick with The Inkey List, The Ordinary, and Tree of Life BeautyVitamin C eye creams/ serums once I do because they're less than half the price and work similarly well. No filters were used in my photos / no "selfie mode" enhancements. I'm 38 and have lifelong very sensitive/ reactive skin that often gets hives/ rashes from products and this one didn't cause any sensitivity. Overall it's a nice, luxurious product and if you have the money to spend, I really enjoyed it but I think there are similar products that work as well for much less $ though they don't have as nice packaging or as luxurious of a feel. Oh, and it's free of added fragrances which is a plus in my book as far as eye creams go.
