Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream - 50ml

I have invested thousands of dollars experimenting with shine/oil reducing moisturizers to find the product that works for me. To my delight, this product is easily one of my top 2 moisturizers and will definitely be purchased in the future! For starters, I appreciate the gel consistency over the typical creams. I feel like these types of products absorb easily into my skin and leave little of the extra residue feeling behind. Now to the results, when I use a regular moisturizer, my skin looks wet. It's so shiny and oily that Id rather not moisturize in general. Feels great on your skin!

I really really like this facial cream! I honestly thought it wasn’t gonna be worth much mainly because my spoiled self looks at packaging before I buy or get a product and this was pretty plain. I know better then to judge a book by it’s cover but still I look for fun packaging and pretty stuff! This product may have been plain on the outside or not my typical facial cream packaging but not does it work and make your face feel amazing! I opened it and the container reminded me almost of a chest rub I’ve used for years when sick. Once I got that out of my head I realized this stuff is it’s own little gem. I really love the feel and how it doesn’t leave my face feeling icky or sticky. Not a problem for me here. If this makes sense it give a moisturizer feeling yet drys quickly not leaving a product residue. I strongly suggest this product it’s definitely a great find. Doesn’t have a strong scent and layers good under my make up. The oil free part really made my skin happy! I really like the more gel feel vs a white cream as well cleanse easy. A little goes a long way!!

Finally, a moisturizer that works for oily skin!

As someone with extremely oily skin, I always have to debate about whether or not to moisturize. I know the importance of moisturizing but it's so frustrating applying moisturizer and looking greasy within 30 minutes. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream honestly surprised me because it works very well with my skin. The consistency is very smooth and lightweight. After I applied it to my skin, it dried down to a matte finish which I LOVE. This is the only moisturizer that actually held up throughout the day, I was noticeably less oily than I normally am. Holy Grail

I have combination skin but my T zone gets incredibly oily so that makes finding a moisturizer difficult. I started with the original Ultra Facial Cream. It felt amazing but at the end of the day I was very oily and greasy. I got this one to try and I was super hesitant. I've never found a gel cream that I've liked. I always find that they aren't moisturizing enough for me. Then I tried this one. I truly don't know how they do it. It's cooling, lightweight, dries down quickly but keeps me moisturizer all day long. Plus my dermatologist loves me using this brand. I will never use another moisturizer.

Not for combination skin

Neutrogena just discontinued their oil-free sensitive skin lotion and I have yet to find an equal. This would have been perfect for me in high school but now being pre-menopausal with combination skin it did not work. I am still acne-prone with sensitive skin and while my oily nose and chin were fine, by the third use my cheeks and forehead flaked with dry skin. I then used more in those areas but soon had several tiny whiteheads all over my face. Worked great under Bare Minerals, was so light and refreshing to put on, but sadly had to return it. FYI seems expensive for the amount and size but not much needed for a normal application.

Overall great product

I really enjoyed using this gel cream. I've been using this product for a while now and I have been really happy with the results. First it applies very easily and is light weight, absorbs into my skin well, and works well in the morning or night for application. it does not leave any sticky residue or after feeling. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly. I do like that there is not a strong odor for this cream, since you're putting it close to your nose any strong odor bothers me, and this product is great! I like the bright packaging because it really stands out compared to my other beauty products, but I wish the lid sealed a bit tighter. Really Good For My Oily Skin

I'm 51 and I *still* get oily skin. On the one hand that's great, no wrinkles yet, on the other hand it's so gross I still get a shiny face, some sports and can feel the oil...yuk. I was using another fairly 'high end' moisturiser which was supposed to be ok for my skin type but I was having to buy blotting paper for use in the afternoon. I decided to look for other moisturisers for oily skin and this popped up so I gave it a go. You don't need a lot! It goes on really nicely and smells good too. My face feels moisturised without feeling greasy. It sinks in pretty well.
