Following the directions, I consistently apply 2-3 drops to my clean and dry face in the morning and at night. The serum is easy to spread and absorbs pretty quickly. In the morning, I usually apply SPF face lotion after the serum, and at night I apply a retinoid and night cream after the serum. I used this product day and night for 10 days before writing this review.I had no sensitivity to this product. I replaced a competitor's hyaluronic acid serum with this one in my skin routine and followed with my regular snail mucin essence and moisturizer. The Kiehl's hyaluronic acid did a much better job of maintaining a moisturized look than the product I was using before. I believe that after just 10 days of use, my skin looks brighter, livelier, and younger. For the same reasons, hyaluronic acid should be followed by a moisturizer, to allow the products to moisturize the skin. Further, I found that 2-3 drops was not enough for me, personally.My recommendation would be to change the direction so that customers looking to increase hydration do not follow these directions and wind up with drier skin. I would rewrite the instructions to read "Apply a small amount to clean, damp skin in the morning and evening, following with moisturizer".Overall, I was impressed with this product. I though the performance was amazing when following a routine that strayed from the directions. After 10 days of use, I would estimate I have used about 6ml (or 20%) of the product. So I think with daily use, this product would last me just shy of three months.
