I will only buy this Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce because it tastes fantastic. I've tried other brands, but I always come back to Kikkoman. Since soy sauce is high in sodium, I like to buy the "less sodium." It has 38% less sodium than regular soy sauce. I use it when I make tofu and rice, but I also use it as a meat marinade. A serving size is one tablespoon and ten calories. Even though it has less sodium, it still has 590mgs per serving. This soy sauce has the best flavoring out of all the different brands. I recommend it; I have been buying it for years and will continue to purchase it.

I am not a fan of Asian cuisines nor do I put soy sauce on the Chinese-American delivery that I order like once a year, but I always have a bottle of Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce in my refrigerator and probably one on standby in a kitchen cabinet as well. The label suggests using this soy sauce for basting, marinating, in sauces, on vegetables, in stews/soups, or directly on prepared dishes. The low sodium version has 38% less sodium than the regular version. One tablespoon-sized serving contains 10 calories, 0 grams of fat, 1 gram of carbohydrates, 1 gram of protein, and 590 grams of sodium. This product is easy to find in pretty much every grocery and discount home store like Target/Walmart. You can even find it in convenience stores. I mostly use Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce in marinades for things like beef and chicken. I have added a couple of dashes in stews/soups when recipes have called for it. Oh it is a big ingredient in a cream cheese and wasabi appetizer that I often serve when I am entertaining. I have no complaints with this product and highly recommend it.

Kikkoman Soy Sauce is the best soy sauce I have ever tasted. It has just the right amount of saltiness (is not overbearing) and a great consistency. Some soy sauces can be very watery and runny but not this one. I make my own fried rice and flavour it at the end of the cooking process with soy - after adding the Kikkoman my rice had never tasted better. I will certainly be buying it again. I also served it with some steamed dim sims and my husband was equally impressed saying "This soy sauce tastes just like the one at that Chinese restaurant we go to." (it probably is!). The only small down point I have is it's more expensive than the other brands but then the quality is so much better that the higher price is worth paying!

As a fellow Asian, I think I am well experienced with this type of sauce. Growing up, I dipped everything into soy sauce and I watched it being poured into every kind of dish imaginable. Kikkoman Soy Sauce definitely exceeds my approval ratings. Ding ding ding in all categories! My mother fed me with delicious soy sauce, and now I can feed my family with Kikkoman Soy Sauce.
In my opinion, Kikkoman just tastes better than any other soy sauce. It’s a bit more expensive than some other brands but it’s worth the price. Plus, if you’re concerned about your sodium intake, Kikkoman has a low sodium choice that still has that great taste without the high sodium content! (I usually get that one but when I ordered mine, they were out of it). ;)
During the pandemic I was forced to buy this when other brands were not available. I find it sometimes has a bitter taste and sometimes a burnt taste. I prefer LaChoy lite but the second that comes in it flies off the shelves, so it's still hard to get, and I'm forced to try something else. We found we like Bragg liquid aminos better than this too.
Got them yesterday, all I've done is wear them and they're already literally falling apart at the seams. The threads that hold the top half to the buttons are coming apart after just one use. I was very gentle and slow when unbuttoning them and still they have loose threads. Would add pictures but mobile will not let me.What's worse is that they are purely aesthetic. I am in California, the weather doesn't get too cold here, and these still will not keep you hands warm. The yellow part to keep fingers warm is extremely thin. All in all, the only good thing is the look. They are no good at all for practical use.
Better than a bullion cube. Kikomman Soy Sauce makes vegetable dishes sing with flavor. The balanced salty flavor make a simple bowl rice into an entire meal. Meat (Chicken, Pork and Beef) can be marinated or they can have Kikomman generously brushed on during grilling or sautéing. Old world quality combined with fine ingredients make this Soy Sauce your chef's best friend in the kitchen. Additionally, add a dab of wasabi and any sushi becomes a heavenly delight. A bottle of Kikomman Soy Sauce deserved an honored space in your sauce collection. Arigatou gozaimashita fellow BJ's esteemed guests. Sayonara from Miami Florida.
This is the best tasting soy sauce Ive tried. It tastes great. I use it to cook with all the time. My main reason is taste for sure but here is the other main reason I recommend this soy sauce. Its that Ive tried other brands and this is the only brand that I have found that I have never noticed anything that has settled out and is like what I would refer to as the crud on the bottom of the bottle that you have to shake up to put back in suspension like you see in almost any other type of soy sauce. I have never seen any settling of the contents of either of the types of Kikkomans soy sauce wether it be the normal or the low sodium type.To me this is proof of a very well made product. The other thing I really like about it is the fact that I live in Illinois and ... MoreThis is the best tasting soy sauce Ive tried. I have never seen any settling of the contents of either of the types of Kikkomans soy sauce wether it be the normal or the low sodium type.To me this is proof of a very well made product. The other thing I really like about it is the fact that I live in Illinois and this product is made right across the state line up in Walworth, Wisconsin. So to me it so a well made fairly local product. And I like that. The other thing I have heard a couple of different times is that one of the reasons that they produce it where they are is that the well they have on site has such pure water that they would never consider relocating. Wether this is fact or just a story that has been made up I cannot answer. But every time I pick up the bottle and flip it over and see nothing stuck to the bottom of the bottle like with most other brands I tend to think in my mind, Yep This Is The Good Stuff.
If you have ever tried fermented and brewed soy sauce you will understand this is not the real McCoy. The real stuff is a real treat, but it is expensive. Kikkoman soy will seemingly keep forever, even opened and unrefrigerated, which makes this bulk buy excellent for decanting a more usable amount into a smaller container to keep in the kitchen or on the table.
