A beautiful, intense, woody, tobacco, earthy with a hint of cinnamon scent. Something like I’ve never smelt before. Sweeter than Tom ford oud wood with a slight tough of replica jazz club. Very unique. A fantastic combination. Lasts well provided you match it with moisturized skin or a bit of Vaseline. I almost want to say it’s a dark mysterious scent. I received a mini sample in exchange for this post. But will genuinely be purchasing it for either myself or a family member- to share!

I love this scent! You definitely get sandalwood, I get tobacco as the main note. The Amyris has a sweet, balsamic, and woody scent with a light pepper or ginger-like high note. The copahu balm has a nice woodsy spicy smell. It’s an all around balanced scent that reminds me of the woods or a forest but a nice grounding spice. I think it’s unisex it could work for anyone. It lasts all day long and would be a wonderful scent to to stack other scents on top of.

Classic animalic sandalwood scent. With the first spray it smells pretty sour and sharp, like some sort of cleaning product. As it dries down it develops into a softer, musky sandalwood, a “skin but better” fragrance. It’s true to the listed notes but on me personally the the musk (Ambrette) crossed into BO territory but that’s generally how sandalwood / ambrette fragrances go and some people enjoy that and some don’t. Objectively it’s nice but not a safe blind buy and the projection is pretty weak for the price point of a full bottle.

I'm a perfume enthusiast, that's why I was so excited to try the new Scared Woods by Killian. Upon the first spray I could smell the amyris (which I loved), followed by sandalwood and subtle hints of cedarwood, before settling into a creamy woodsy scent which I think is the copahu balm. The longevity is about 4 hours before needing to reapply, with a moderate silage. This is such a cozy scent making it perfect for Fall.Overall if you love enchanting woodsy-milky fragrances I recommend giving Scared Woods a try!
This fragrance is right up my alley. I really enjoy woody/spicy/oud fragrances. This fragrance is woody, has a comforting laconic creaminess to it, and is not too heavy. From the first sniff, it was an absolute love for me! I can’t wait to wear this in the fall/winter. It sits close to the skin, and doesn’t project really loudly, but something about it feels so cozy. It has a sweetness to it, but to my nose it still leans perfectly unisex.
The fragrance description for Sacred Wood had me really intrigued to sample it … and while to a degree my experience did seem to emulate the description, it was overall quite underwhelming. The main problem being there’s no projection whatsoever. The only time I really noticed it each time I sampled it was during the initial sprays - which to me was kinda unpleasant as I was getting a sharp, cleaning product vibe. After a few minutes, I go nose-blind to it and seem to forget about it. It doesn’t project at all (as compared to say, Angels’ Share), I couldn’t even get wafts throughout the day as I moved around. I had to put my nose under my shirt (where I spray) to try to grab a sense of the scent. So the initial spray is pretty bad - got over it within minutes - and ... MoreThe fragrance description for Sacred Wood had me really intrigued to sample it … and while to a degree my experience did seem to emulate the description, it was overall quite underwhelming. I had to put my nose under my shirt (where I spray) to try to grab a sense of the scent. So the initial spray is pretty bad - got over it within minutes - and ultimately sort of forgot I even had on the fragrance. A few hours in, when I sniff under my shirt to try to figure out what happened, I just get a faint rather dry wood? It was unremarkable and I lost interest tbh. However towards the end of my wearing, about 8 hours from initial spray, I did sniff under my shirt and noted a very pleasant creamy, almost milky, musk. I loved the end - but again no projection - it was just a surprise when I sniffed myself. And in my case, there are fragrances out there that can deliver that creamy musk much stronger than Sacred Wood, so I don’t really think this fragrance at its price point is worth it. Grateful for being able to sample it though.
So this scent isn’t as complex as I was hoping. The csly ended up being a journey and complex , still not sure if I love or hate it . This one , to me nose , this smells like tarte wood chips , smells maybe like hinoki wood ? I can’t really smell a lot of the other notes , nothing lactonic . After the initial spray it smelled more like mint slightly and wood then once it has time to dry down it smells sort of like pickles to me !! Not kidding , like pickled hinoki wood. . It’s not bad but I wouldn’t reach for it for myself. It’s not a beast mode scent either in comparison to some of the other kilian scents
Killian Sacred Wood EDP is one of the longest lasting fragrances I have encountered. It opens with an earthy wooden spice note and settles down to reveal a milky balsam and sandalwood aroma with a sillage that lasts the whole day into the night. One spray before work and I’m able to notice whiffs of it throughout my 8 1/2 hr work day, which I enjoyed. The perfume does slightly fade at the 6-7 hour mark but was still discernible on my skin for a few hours later until my shower that night. I even tried a spritz before weight lifting and the aroma stayed strong on my skin and didn’t turn sour on me. I think the price point makes it out of reach for a lot of people but the fragrance itself is a beautiful ode to sandalwood using top of the line fragrance oils making ... MoreKillian Sacred Wood EDP is one of the longest lasting fragrances I have encountered. All I can say is WOW! After owning more than 100 perfumes, I feel like my taste in perfumes hold some value. This is probably one of the most luxurious woodsy scents I've ever smelled. It smells so nostalgic, so warm and cozy. Very inviting. The perfect night out scent that's seducing. It is definitely unisex. It is a more luxurious scent than Le Labo's Santal perfume. It can also be perfect for layering if that's your preference but it can be worn by itself! It also lasts on for a long time.
I’ve only tried Killian Sacred Wood a few times, but so far, I’m liking it. The scent is warm and woody, with a smooth, almost creamy vibe that’s easy to wear. The longevity seems decent, though I’m still testing that out. If you’re into understated, sophisticated scents, this one’s worth a shot. It definitely leans more masculine. One of the draw backs is definitely the price. I would not recommend this as a blind buy.
