Kilner Universal Storage Jar 2 Litre

Really lovely item and arrived quickly and safely. However I bought it for biscuit storage but it doesn’t seem airtight and so the biscuits don’t stay fresh. Such a shame.

I love the Kilner range of products and have a number of them. This jar appealed to me as I wanted a glass sweetie treats jar to keep on the counter. The jar arrived in perfect condition, it is an attractive jar with a glass stopper. I like to fill it with colourful contents which look really attractive and appealing when viewed through the glass. Kilner products are really attractive but in addition, they keep the contents safe and clean.

I bought two of these jars. I use them for Muesli and Granola each day so I keep them on the work surface. They are really stylish and the wider openings allow room for a cereal scoop or spoon. They are not sealed with rubber and clips so they are not difficult to open as some of the canning jars are. I think they are really good value for money. Each one holds 750g of muesli so a decent size. I will buy more.

very nice jars that arrived very promptly.The packaging,however was so excessive each jar of 4 had a mass of very large and not reusable bubblewrap around it as a consequence it was in a huge box.. The more normal amazon style paper therefore recylable packaging would be FAR, FAR more suitable for what is quite a robust product anyway. I will not be bying any more because of this packaging. the packaging half fills the household bin which we only get emptied every 2 weeks, it is that bad will take time to get rid of the air in the bubblewrap to try and squish it down. very, very irritating and thoughtless to the environment.

I love these jars! They arrived very well packaged and are a nice heavy and durable glass. these jars were twice the price ordering from other venders such as Amazon, which honestly surprised me. The lids fit very tightly and snug which took some getting used to but overall I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

I USE 1, TO STORE ALL MY OPENED PACKS OF LEFTOVER MIXES OF PASTA I ADD ALL SHAPES TYPES INCLUDE THE SHEETS. kilner (rocco fido)

So I have been putting everything I can think of in glass storage jars the last several months. I really like the rocco fido, especially the blue. The fido are cheaper than the kilner. That said, Kilner has several great shapes. this jas is one of them. Great size for my needs. Probably a little small for a cookie jar. But could work.
