This is achieved by delivering a robust, sudden rotary force combined with forward propulsion when hit with a hammer, effectively "jolting" fasteners to free them and preventing the driver tip from slipping out. This tool employs 5/16" hex drive bits and incorporates a molded body and hand protector to enhance grip and absorb shocks. It also features a steel end-cap for hammer strikes. Furthermore, it includes a removable bit holder covering the 1/2" square drive, allowing the impact driver to be used with 1/2" drive impact sockets. All these components are neatly stored in a Kincrome BMC for easy portability and to prevent bit loss. To use the impact driver, simply select the appropriate Kincrome PTA bit for your application, insert the tip into the fastener, and apply gentle rotational pressure in the desired direction to engage the tool mechanism. Maintain this light rotational pressure while striking the end-cap with a hammer, held in your other hand. A few well-placed strikes will either tighten or loosen the fastener as needed.
