Amazon Kindle 11th Gen 6" 16GB WiFi (2024)

I've been eyeing this for quite some time, and I finally gave in! I guess I'm back in my \"rory gilmore\" era. 📖📚🫧🩷Actually, I bought the Kindle Paperwhite 5 11th Gen 2021 here last May but I've decided to switch to Kindle Basic because the size felt and I'm glad that I switched as I enjoyed reading more on this Basic one plus its really handy! The item is well-packed too, though there is a slight dent in the box. Overall, the Kindle itself is secured and has no damage. The seller is very responsive to my queries as well.Setup is very simple, and removing ads was easy through Amazon Customer Support. It only took less than 5 minutes. Sending ePub and PDF files to my Kindle was a bit of a learning curve (YouTube is the key), but the reading experience is far better than reading on my phone. This is one of my best investments so far, and if you're looking for a sign, THIS IS IT! ✨

Faulty battery that wasn't disclosed.

Bought this because Amazon Prime day deals were terrible this year. I bought this fully aware that there were cosmetic damages as disclosed in the description. It was also listed as "fully functional" which is somewhat of a fib (I feel like lie is too extreme of a word) because the battery drains insanely quick. The appeal of the Kindle is the battery life that lasts weeks bc it has no backlight and no LCD/LED set up. I plugged this in, it charged from 0% to 100% in about 15min and then went from 100% to 62% in 20min of being unused. I tried restarting, I tried resetting, I checked to see if there were updates. Nothing.
