Bought 2 today. Instructions say to use plumbers tape. never seen this before on these kinds of pipes. usually you just screw on as per a garden hose fitting. The plastic ends are poor quality and easily cross threaded especially with tape on the thread. Tried about 5 times but still leaks. Shame on Bunnings. I'm off to my local hardware for a decent set.

Decided the OEM ones need replacing as ageing and taps were being done. The threads are poor quality molds and do not fit easily gave up after 30 min of trying to fit 1st hose and make water tight reverted to the old OEM ones and they were on and sealed in 5min. Save your time buy better ones.

These hoses are absolutely useless. They have to be over tightened to have even a chance of stopping leaks, which means the seal is ruined the moment you have to remove & reattach them.They are also stiff to both tighten & to straighten. The right angle connector on one end gets in the way no matter what angle your tap is. Avoid.Save your money, buy something else.

Purchased this product to install my new Haier dishwasher, only to find after 3 weeks that it had been leaking at both ends. The end for the dishwasher looks like it's incompatible with any that have a filter on their inlet, which seems to be the case of most disheashers. The leak has now cause damage to the cabinets in my kitchen and has caused mould to grow in areas I can't get to. As per other reviews I've now seen on shorter models it seems that I'm not the only one.
This washing machine hose leaked when it was put on new from packet. We tightened it, checked the o ring and it continued to drip from the machine. Returned to bunnings, returns desk said they’d had a few of these returned. Bought another brand of hose that doesn’t drip.
I bought this 4m hose because it was the only product I could find. I read the reviews about leakage but had no other choices. After about a week it started dripping even though it was fully hand tight. So I checked the rubber gasket. That looked up to the job. However, the plastic moulding has mismatched tooling marks (see the arrows on the photo). These create microscopic leak points that fail when water pressure is applied. I tested my assessment by removing the ridges. It solved the issue. Perhaps the Bunnings buyer should talk to the supplier?
This is the fourth hose that I have purchased for my washing machine. They leak within months of installation. It's just not worth buying or returning them anymore. I will be buying a genuine one today.
Leaked immediately at the faucet even with plumbers tape. After multiple tries I gave up and bought a new hose from a different brand. Wish I had read the other reviews before buying, I would have saved myself a lot of time!
Got a hole in our washing machine hose and I thought it was a huge problem that required a new machine. Bought this hoping hoses were universal and it has been a dream solution. Simple fix to what I thought was going to be an expensive problem.
Worked perfectly. No drips, no hassles. I guess others just bought the wrong hose, or didn't tighten it enough.
