It's a fun little toy. My kids already love kinetic sand so adding a dinosaur element to it is a fun twist! I do wish the container that it came in was a little more durable/ resealable like some of the other sets because I think we will have to move the sand to a more sturdy container.

My kids love Kenetic Sand. They find it very soothing to knead it and sculpt it. Kinetic Sand, Dino XCavate is a fun toy. The dig and discover element is a new way to engage with Kinetic Sand. My daughter liked the surprise toy angle. She said is was kind of like a blind bag. Our T- Rex was easy to assemble and could be disassembled for storage. back it the sand. We tried to use the footprint to stamp tracks in the sand, but the print didn't stay together too well. The only other issue was the figure wouldn't stand up on its own. As a Mom, I really appreciate that the box could be reassembled for clean up storage. A plus for creating a sand toys that don't make a huge mess.

This Kinetic Sand DinoXcavate toy is so awesome! I wish I had this as a kid. It's great because it doesn't create a mess. I like that the tool is both a shovel and a pick axe. Makes you feel like you are actually finding dinosaurs! My kids love it! Simply pop the cover back on for later use.

This is a super fun little project! The crate comes with a mini shovel and there are a lot of cool details on the box. You dig in the sand for dinosaur pieces and make an awesome dino! The sand is fun to play with afterwards too.
The kids (aged 2 and 4 years) really enjoyed playing with this kinetic sand. They were very entertained digging for hidden treasures. As a mom, I appreciate that the sand doesn't get that messy. The kids enjoyed molding the sand as well, without the sand getting everywhere, so yay! I would say keep it as a table top activity for sure. The size of the toy is nice and small so we can pack it easily to bring on-the-go.
Kinetic sand Dino xcavate is an interactive and clever product. The Dino pieces are hidden in the sand so you have to dig them out and you can still play with the kinetic sand when you're done doing the dinosaur. I would recommend this product!
We love kinetic sand in our house, it's pretty amazing stuff, so when I saw that kinetic sand offered a dino excavating kit, I knew my son would adore this. The kit comes with a plastic shovel, and a box that contains the sand and one of three dino skeletons. My 4 year old had a blast digging for the bones which we then assembled together. There is a larger kit which I will definitely be buying.
I couldn't have gotten this at a better time! My two sons have been watching dinosaur shows all week! There obsessed and they love kinetic sand too! They absolutely love it! It's easy to use and the sand can be reused. The dinosaur bones are of good quality too!
This is a great toy educational and promotes thinking and creativity. The materials feel solid and high quality it's made with natural sand and has a fun great texture. The is a fun and exiting game for kinds and the dinosaur theme is clever and makes it ingesting for kinds.
Bought for my daughter for christmas. She was really into it until she couldn't put hers together because there are supposed to be 4 pieces and there is only 3 in the package. Now I have very upset toddler thats mad because her stegosaurus doesnt have a tail and cant be put together.
