Amazing upgrade from my SATA SSD!

Overall, I'm very happy with this drive and wish I would have upgraded my system sooner!

This solid-state drive has really transformed my personal, at-home computer! It stores so much stuff on it, I've moved some of my really intensive games on here and they run so much faster than before. It was very easy to install as well, and is definitely super durable and made out of high-quality materials. Now that my gaming pc has more storage it is performing so much better! I highly recommend this SSD.

Computer needs
25 October 2022

I got this for my brother in law that likes to build computers. He is very techy and likes to build computers to be more efficient. This is great for extra space on your computer for photos or videos. Works great for people needing space on a computer for their basic uses. Bigger drives are also available for more needs but works for the everyday needs we use it for.

Great Speeds At Affordable Prices

This is not my first NVMe, so I went in with high expectations when it comes to performance. I grabbed this as a scratch disk for After Effects and it has performed beautifully. Install is super easy and performance has been great. Looking forward to the future when these come in massive sizes and we do away with the bulky mechanical ones all together. Overall a great option if you're looking for fast and reliable storage for your machine.

Kingston SSD
15 October 2022

The Kingston NV2 solid state drive has done absolute wonders for my personal computer! It installed effortlessly into the NVMe M.2 slot on my motherboard. Since installing it, I have moved a couple of my favorite games off of my hard disc drive and onto the Kingston SSD. The games are launching faster, running smoother and I'm seeing less time on loading screens. The 3,000 MB/s read speed is a definite improvement over a traditional hard disc drive. There is even still plenty of room left over for more games to be installed, considering the robust 250gb space of the Kingston SSD. This isn't my first Kingston product and most certainly won't be my last.

Lightning speeds
22 October 2022

The drive was very easy to install. Being so compact it saves a lot of space compared to traditional drives. Transferring files was easy and the speed of the transfer was insane. The size is true and booting up my pc was lightning fast. The drive is durable and built of high quality materials. This product is amazing.

Outstanding
16 November 2022

I have this drive in an Asus Arion usb-c external enclosure as a back-up drive and to quickly transfer games and movies between my laptop and desktop. Both my desktop PC and laptop are not the best and definitely have some bottlenecks, but even so I get over 600 mb/s transfer speeds 95% of the time for both reading and writing. It's become the drive I reach for the most for large video files especially. I definitely recommend it for this purpose, and I can only assume it would perform astoundingly well inside a pc as Kingston probably intended.

Plenty fast

I'm not into the finest details and benchmarking speeds. What I did notice immediately, is the speed of transferring my Canon R5 RAW files from my 2022 M1 Max MacBook Pro internal drive onto this drive is blazing fast in comparison. Another significant and immediately performance gain, previewing the R5 Raw files directly from the finder window, without using Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Bridge, the preview is almost instantaneous. I have this SSD installed on a all-in-one USB-C hub with a built-in PCIe NVMe port that supports up to 2TB.For me, I love it. With the hub and this SDD all in one small travel package, I can work and play without having to carry an external drive.

Really great drive
7 November 2022

Loving this SSD. Super fast - my games load super quickly and moving files to/from my other SSD is lightning quick. The 250 GB size is a nice secondary drive. If you'll be using this for a primary drive, I'd recommend 500GB or more. Installation was a breeze. Kingston has done it again - I'll certainly be using their products in the future!
