USB 3.0 technology means that users don’t have to compromise on transfer speeds for security and can safely and easily store and access data with SuperSpeed technology.

Great flashdrive to use when needing encryption!

I have bought a number of these drives. They honestly are a game changer. They are highly secure. Yet, an easy to remember password is adequate since they can't be brute forced. (They only allow 10 login attempts before they erase themselves.) They are very simple and intuitive to use, which is critical when you are working with people who are not computer savvy. The support staff at the Kingston's chat line are excellent. (I didn't have any problems, but just needed to clarify a few things as I had to teach others how to use the drives.)

Pros Very secure little device Encryption app is in the device Cons The cap isn't attached to the device when removed; seems easy to lose the cap
The fact that it limits the number of password tries allows security with a shorter password
This USB is FIPS 140-2 level 3 certified, so it is supposed to be VERY secure. When you plug in the USB, it has pre-loaded software on it that you need to use to configure the USB, such as setting the password, read only option to protect your pc incase the USB has a virus on it. This USB will re-format after 10 failed password attempts. This is not a setting you can remove or configure. It's supposed to be tamper resistant from physical attacks. Con: Extremely expensive, especially for a 4GB stick
Wonderful drive, great for storing secured work.
