The Flash drive worked when I transferred my data. Half way into the transfer it stopped and the computer could no longer detect the flash drive. I am SHOCKED as I had already transferred 11Gb of data and I tried with several computers and all could detect the drive. What a blunder I've made as I trusted on the reliability of the product. My advice DO NOT BUY from this vendor who is selling sub standard product. Worse I bought 2 of them. My data is far more important than the price of this Kingston flash drive. Now I've lost it completely, sadly at my loss.

Kingston DT100G3/32GB USB 3.0 DataTraveler Ample room to perform most Windows 11 tasks including creating a Recovery Drive (which I have needed more than once)! I like the way the USB connection is protected by pulling on the sheath. So used to this product that I went for these drives instead of the newer ones plus they are cheaper.

The 100 G3 series have good housings (slide-back caps), but the drives' performance leaves much to be desired. Other reviewers here have also had the same results. CrystalDiskMark numbers basically show this to be USB 2.5-ish performance. The problems is it should be USB 3.0 levels. It appears the price points on these drives is coming down due to manufacturers lowering SSD prices, which means it is more feasible to buy an inexpensive SATA-to-USB 3.0 adapter and use an SSD instead. Of course, the SSD's footprint is much larger than the flash drive, but performance/value for the SSD is now changing the landscape. This drive is OK for an occasionally-used Linux Live stick, or just for simple storage, but other manufacturers offerings (SanDisk, Centon, PNY) are better ... MoreThe 100 G3 series have good housings (slide-back caps), but the drives' performance leaves much to be desired. Kinda recommend the drive, but DEFINITELY recommend the marketplace vendor, MemoryC. Fast order processing

Most certainly not worth the money and frustration in using.

Considering the very low price of this flash drive & the extra time & aggravation the computer user will have to put up with in using it, means that in the end this product becomes a very expensive product. Most computer users would rather do any other interesting thing than wait endlessly for a sloth of a storage device to accomplish it's requested task. For the life of me I cant comprehend why a reputable company such as Kingston would push this kind of worthless junk on the consumer. Much better off with Patriot Memory Supersonic Rage in the 32GB + capacities. Even the lowly 4GB USB 2.0 flash drives today have a disk activity LED. Something I consider to be a necessary feature.
