I use many USB drives for many different reasons and I always worry about somebody getting ahold of my USBs and getting my information. The Kingston IronKey key pad is the solution to my problem. Its well designed, compact, secure, and simple to use. Im really glad I found it! Highly recommended! I will definately be buying another one!

Simply key in your PIN to unlock the data files on your drive. The stick is super easy to use and transfer your files. I like the fact that this will delete all the data if someone tries to get into it too much. It has been great for work related stuff!

I recently got this to try to secure some files that I was a little uneasy having just sitting on a drive and in one of my cabinets.This drive seems to be well built and easy to use. First thing I had to do is set up a new password and the directions were very simple to do so. The manuals are stored on the drive so I would suggest to copy them off the drive so you can access them more easily and understand the drive a bit more. It's not really complex to use so anyone should be able to use this drive.Once I set up the password I was able to use this and move all my sensitive files to this drive and make sure they are very secured. I then tested it by giving my code to my family to access. They were able to gain access so I knew I was good. If you’re an IT tech or even just someone who needs to have documents secure, the IronKey Key200 is for you. This is a small light weight drive key that will hold a lot of information for you. The key itself is sturdy and does not stick out too far from the computer. I used it in my home PC and love that the secure information can’t be accessed without entering a pin on the key itself. I am in the process of putting all out important documents on this key! I would highly recommend this to anyone in the IT field or anyone wanting to secure private documents.
This encrypted USB really gives peace of mind. Works for any sensitive content you want to keep safe from prying eyes. It was easy to set up both the user PIN and the admin PIN by following the video's on the brand website.They also provide a walkthrough video that explains the functions of the USB. Take care to remember your passcode, if the wrong admin PIN is entered wrong 10 times all of the data saved on the USB will be permanently deleted. This would be great to use for tax information, sensitive documents, or anything that could be linked to identity theft. Highly recommend!
The Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 with 8GB is great. It is durable and easy to use. Setting up the password was easy. I was able to store all of my secured filed and make room on my computer drive. This little drive helps me keep my data safe. The entire device is brilliant and holds all the user manuals as well. Great for school, work, even those precious family photos. Highly recommended.
Great product from Kingston, great features and super secure. Storage speed is quite good. Specs on box match performance. I would recommend it if you wanted to store data in a safe, secure flash drive. Used with software encryption, this device will add another layer of security.
This has brought me a lot of relief in regards to my personal data. I can finally store all my digital media and docs in a secure device. At first glance, this seems to be protected only by it's ability to be assigned a rock solid alphanumeric passcode, but upon further inspection I realize how much deeper the security on this device goes. There's a physical coating within the device itself and on the surface of the keys, both adding a layer of protection against tampering and nefarious intentions. The keypad specifically, has a coating to hide key usage so that nobody can tell which keys have been pressed or used most often. This entire device is brilliantly designed, from the software to the hardware and encryption level, KingstonTech did not compromise on security!
The IronKey Keypad 200 is very well built and sturdy. Not that I will do it, but my guess is I can drive a car over it and it would survive. Also seems at least splash proof with Key place in the holder as a fine silicone or rubber seal between the case and the key seems made to exclude water. The bad part and reason to take away one star is the complexity of the instructions. There is no way an individual with a normal memory will remember all the ways to program this, but I do feel pretty safe that with 8-15 numbers/letters as a passcode that it would very strongly deter any efforts to steal your data.
