This is a really good one, the set up is easy. It looks sturdy and well built. You have the option to setup a password or a pass phrase during the initial setup. It's AES 256 encrypted and great to store passwords and crypto keys. Works with both Windows and Mac. 8 Gb is more than enough for your regular needs. Also you get 10 tries before it formats the drive, pretty secure in my opinion. Definitely recommend it.

Really feel like this little guy is secure. Instillation of the USB software is required and you're able to create a admin and sub passwords. Files can be shared to the individual account provided read/write access or restricted. You cannot plug this into any device that dosen't allow for the encryption so it's not somthing I would recommened for presentations. Anything you want to keep secure you keep in here. Backup for your more important programs you don't want to accidentially delete.

This has a strong barrier to protect the contents within (XTS-AES Encryption). I wanted this because I've lost too many files lately when electronics went bad. I should have had them on one of these and I didn't. I regret that. I always use up my free cloud storage and I don't always want those personal items on a cloud. This is the answer.Setup is easy. When it is plugged into a Windows machine or IMac , the software is available and can be used to set up the drive with a password. That's pretty straightforward. If you forget your password or enter it incorrectly (10 attempts), you can wipe the drive and start over but you cannot recover your data. So, choose your password wisely :).
The Kingston IronKey Locker+ 50 (LP50) is a great USB 3.1 flash drive focusing on security. It is easy to get going with the included software on the flashdrive. I easily set my complex password phrase to access the drive. It also comes with an automatic cloud backup that uploads and syncs every time you log in. Another great security feature will automatically erase everything on the drive if 10 attempts are failed. Transferring files could be faster but it's fair at 145mb/s. I'd recommend this flash drive to anyone that wants their data safe, secure and backed up.
The Ironkey Locker+ 50 encrypted USB Flash Drive is a great product. If you need to secure your data, you need this. The set-up was easy. I like the multi-password feature. You can choose complex or passphrase. I do the passphrase. It also will only allow 10 tries at the password then it will shut down and reformat. You can use this flash drive for Windows or macOS. The 8 GB is plenty for what I need. The actual product is heavy duty. About 3 inches long and rugged. I would definitely recommend this product.

The IronKey drive has a software problem. When your computer goes into sleep mode and then you log back into your computer, your files are no longer accessible from IronKey. If you click on the IronKey exe file nothing happens. You have to go into Task Manager and shut down the IronKey app then go back on click on the IronKey exe to relaunch the app to get to your files. You should be able to just click on the Exe and log in. You shouldn't have to shut it down in Task Manager first.
The case is very well built. You can lock it using a normal password or more advanced passphrase which is harder to guess. Cloud backup included with drive purchase. Compatible with Google Drive, OneDrive (Microsoft), Amazon S3, Dropbox, Box services. ***Does require two available drive letters on your PC to use. Your PC uses the next two letters available. For most people this is not an issue.
Simple to use. Teenager uses it to store ores for classes. Plug and go, so it’s quick for him to get back into. Small enough to carry in your pocket. Notes aren’t too secret so no need for the encryption. But nice touch. 10/10 recommend to strangers and friends. Would make a great tech gift for employees.
