An encrypted solution for all applications. Kingston UV500 SSDs boot up your system incredibly quickly, improve response times dramatically and load and transfer files much faster than mechanical hard drives. They are equipped with a latest-generation Marvell 88SS1074 controller and 3D NAND semiconductor flash memory, providing read and write speeds of up to 520 MB/s and 500 MB/s. These SSDs are up to ten times faster than a traditional hard drive, ensure maximum performance, provide ultra-fast response times when multitasking and accelerate the system overall. UV500 ensures continuous data protection and supports 256-bit hardware-based AES encryption as well as TCG Opal 2.0 security management solutions. UV500 is generally more reliable and durable than a conventional hard drive and uses NAND semiconductor flash memory. Solid State Drives contain no moving parts, meaning they are less prone to error than hard drives. They stay cooler and work quieter. Their shock and vibration resistance mean they are ideal for use in notebooks and other mobile computers. The UV500 is available in various capacities from 120 GB to 960 GB in M.2 SATA format. This means you can use them as a boot drive, or take advantage of higher capacities to store videos, photos and the applications you use most often.
