Kirkland Signature Ito En Matcha Blend 100 Japanese Green Tea Leaves

I love drinking teas. This is probably one of the most economical packages of green teas I have ever bought. It is $19 for the whole box with 100 tea bags in it. The taste is not very strong…it’s mild green tea. It can be brewed hot or cold. I also like that there’s a blend of matcha in it so if you like an afternoon or midday ‘wake-me-up’ drink, this is a good alternative to coffee.

This tea is awesome to have in your go bag when you need a good cup of green tea. I’ll admit it’s not as good as the bottled versions (regular green and jasmine green), but for the price it’s a decent and cheap substitute. Do mind the brewing instructions, though, because green tea can get extremely bitter if brewed too long or in too hot of water.

I'm a huge Matcha Addict and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this tea. Picked it up at Costco and have been drinking it religiously! Love that it is a Sencha/ Matcha blend since Sencha contains high amounts of Catechin antioxidants and Matcha offers more Caffeine and L-theanine than any other type of green tea. If you aren't aware L-theanine is associated with relaxation and mental alertness, as well as influencing dopamine and seratonin. So the blend gives you all the health benefits of green tea as well as a steady energy boost without the crash or jitters associated with caffeine in coffee and other energy drinks. The flavor of this tea is robust and better than many more expensive brands I've tried. Love the energy boost and calm alertness it imparts.

I can only drink this green tea. It taste good with hot water. I don't add anything to tea. I haven't tried adding anything to tea before. I don't drink everyday but I could. I'm not addicted. It helps me to drink water in general. It's better than drinking juice I guess.

There are countless benefits to drinking and using Green Tea. It is a very powerful antioxidant and is believed to have many health benefits. I decided I was going to try and drink less coffee (only one cup) and more Green tea in my diet. This product tastes pretty bland on its own, but I don’t mind it and I find you get used to it. You could certainly add a little honey to sweeten it a bit. All in all, this product has made me feel better and tastes great.

I love this tea from Kirkland signature. It is manufactured from the company called ITO EN which also makes LOVE MATCHA. LOVE MATCHA is expensive for 10 tea bag it cost 6 dollars. It is the same exact thing but different packaging. I even compared the two. Costco tea is about 12.99 for 100 tea bags which is a steal. This tea is high quality with a silk tea bag and the flavor is delicious. It has a blend of matcha powder in the tea also which are fine ground tea leaves. Green tea is great for metabolism, it is a fat burner and helps with aging. Also it gives mental alertless (the monks drink green tea before mediation to give to alertness and focus).

I first had this tea from my local nail salon and it was so good I asked to take a picture of what brand it was so I can purchase at home. Highly debating ditching my daily cup of coffee for this tea! It is tasty and I feel relaxed drinking it. :)

Good alternative for when you cannot brew the traditional way!

Bought this product for my son to take to work for simplicity sake, he usually drinks the Matcha and Green Teas in powder form at home. He has all the paraphernalia and takes tea drinking seriously and missed his tea during office hours so worth a shot. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality and will certainly buy this brand again, he is extremely fussy! Value for money, hot or cold brewing with a fine mesh nylon bag shaped to allow a decent water flow through the tea. Basically no complaints what so ever. Good alternative for when you cannot brew the traditional way!
