As a nerd and repair technician with moderate of OCD, I really really love the mortise design. It is not only good looking but also having a well design structure accomodates my desired aesthtics. In this price point it is a non-slatted bed that really surprised me.Also this bed is a iead platform to integreade a smart LED lighting system into it and hide all the cables easily.One thing really bothers me is one of the leg was coming with no felt on the floor contect side. But since my bedroom is carpeted so I pretend I don't know that

The delivery and installation were great and easy.Unfortunately, the mattress itself is quite hot to sleep on as the mattress topper sinks in a lot, which captures body heat. It is lucky that we are currently in winter where it's tolerable, but it will be a challenge in the warmer months. We will be trialling it out through the custom satisfaction period and will then assess if it is suitable for us.

Disappointed with our bed base, once unpacked was damaged with a chip in the wood on the left side. For the amount we paid we expected it to arrive in perfect condition. Awaiting a response to resolve. We love our mattress, very comfortable. Highly recommend mattress.

We are very happy with our new Koala Mattress and Kirribilli frame. My husband assembled the bed and was quite impressed with how well it went together. We love the look of it and are sleeping well! Also to note - we ordered many furniture items for our new apartment, and of several deliveries Koala was the only one that was on time and their delivery driver was the friendliest of any we encountered. This is our third purchase from Koala and we remain a loyal customer.
Stoked with my Kirribilli - ordered and arrived yesterday just a few hours later, along with a fresh mattress and pillows. Put it together solo over an hour or so with ease and a podcast (hardest part was taking everything out of the boxes). It looks to be a wonderfully made and sturdy upgrade from the original Koala Timber bed! Can't wait to sleep :)
So solid! So stylish. No creeks or rattles. This is a very good quality bed base that hopefully lasts me decades! I was looking for a base that didn't have flimsy, thin pine slats and destroy the integrity of my new mattress, and this base has thick, wide slats that live up to the expectations. It was so easy to put together and it looks amazing.
The product was very easy to assemble. It took around 40min to assemble for 2 people. Nothing was heavy and the instructions were clear. There are a lot of paper boxes left though. The frame is very firm and the style is beautiful. Mattress is comfortable and soft(not too soft) and we like the size (King). Koala toy was a extra gift and it is very cute.
Super easy process to decide and purchase, delivery was fast and easy. Couldn’t believe how simple and well designed the process of constructing the bed frame was - no tools or expertise required, much easier than any ikea piece I’ve ever put together. Beautiful construction. Would highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering it.
This base is simply a fantastic design.No tools, sturdy and looks fantastic.We were considering all of the major retail stores and found the lack quality at stores like Harvey Norman and domain a real disappointment. The koala base is so sleek and sturdy as a rock. Very pleased with it.
Initially I wasn’t sure about a mattress that came in a box, convenience, a great website and plenty of good reviews drove the decision. And I'm glad it did, so incredibly comfortable, a quarter of the price of the big expensive lumpys we tried elsewhere and the bed was so easy and satisfying to put together. Room looks great, sleep great!
