KitchenAid 2 Slice Toaster - Porcelain White

When it first arrived and I unpacked this toaster, I have to admit I was a bit intimidated by how light it was. Normally that is obviously a good thing but I somehow was worried it was ‘cheap’ material but I can kow say it is not at all and that it is so light is definitely a plus!! We’ve tried everything in it, frozen toast, bagels and regular toast and everything turned out great. The temperature control is working perfectly and the different features this toaster has makes it so easy use. Cleaning is done in 2mins. especially thanks ti the crumb drawer. My old toaster is already donated, this toaster is just top notch and looks so pretty in my kitchen too. I usually try to not spend too much money on these small appliances, however, I would definitely spend the ... MoreWhen it first arrived and I unpacked this toaster, I have to admit I was a bit intimidated by how light it was. I am the owner of three other brands of toasters, and this Kitchenaid brand is hands down the fastest with toasting. Our bagels were toasted evenly and with lightening speed. I am not new to the Kitchenaid brand, as I own 3 of their immersion blenders and 2 stand mixers, so I knew the quality would be there for sure. I also love the neutral color, as I am not a bold colored person. It goes great in any deco theme. My one suggestion would be, it would be nice to have a 4 slice version for a bigger household if there already isn't one. Thank you, Kitchenaid and Influenster, for allowing my family to try out this magnificent toast. Oh! Did I mention all of the different types of bread settings? That's awesome!

Everything that I had hoped for in a toaster!!!

There's no "perfect" toaster out there, but this one comes pretty close! I'm going to answer questions that I had, but didn't know the answers to until I received this toaster. 1) The toaster is an ivory or cream color and not white. (Which was a win for me!) 2) I would consider this a 'cool touch' toaster, but if you toast consecutively, the sides will get warm, but not hot-hot. (another win). I'm replacing a Breville toaster and I feel that the toasting results on this Kitchenaid are superior to my Breville. I'm including photo's - I set the toasting level high, but aborted the cycle when I saw that the toast was brown. The bread side facing the inside got a bit darker - I only had one slice of bread in the toaster at the time, so I'm not sure if that affected the ... MoreThere's no "perfect" toaster out there, but this one comes pretty close! Hope this helps.

Underwhelmed

My old toaster has been hanging on for years, and as I own a few Kitchen Aid products I thought I would invest in this toaster. Believe it or not I was excited to open the parcel when it arrived! but wow was I disappointed. I chose the matt black option and was shocked when I took it out of the box at how plasticky it looked. I decided to use it over the Christmas holidays and see whether it’s performance outweighed my initial disappointment, I am afraid it didn’t and sadly even a normal slice of bread was left sticking out of the top leaving a little bit un toasted, my ultra picky daughter was back from university and used it everyday to toast her bagels and she agreed that it was not worth the money. Thank goodness for the great prices Evri give to QVC it only ... MoreMy old toaster has been hanging on for years, and as I own a few Kitchen Aid products I thought I would invest in this toaster. Thank goodness for the great prices Evri give to QVC it only cost me £2.94 to return. Already on its way back. It is a credit to QVC that we are able to try out these higher end products knowing that if they do not perform as we hope they can be returned for a full refund even if used. I have now ordered the baby blue SMEG toaster in the hope that performs and looks better 🤞

[Rewarded Review] Empire Red Toaster

Red being my favourite colour, i had to buy it to go with the kettle and hand mixer and stand mixer to have a matching set. It toasts bread reasonably well, i've never found a toaster to be 'perfect' at this simple task we've been doing for many years now. I don't use it for anything else except sliced bread so i cannot comment on other items you can put in there. looks nice on the counter with the other appliances. probably a little on the expensive side just to toast bread, this toaster is all metal apart from the buttons and levers rather than the plastic body pf the previous model. It can be hard to justify the price just to toast slice bread when you can find much cheaper to do the same job, but if you're weak like me to have a matching set then this will ... MoreRed being my favourite colour, i had to buy it to go with the kettle and hand mixer and stand mixer to have a matching set. [Rewarded Review] Great design, variety of toasting options and easy to clean.

This toaster is great, it has unique features unlike your typical toaster. Options include a a level to select your desired shade of toast instead of the usual dial. There are also separate options if you want to toast a little longer which definitely avoids burning your toast. The toaster has extra wide slots which makes toasting large items such as bagels waffles etc. easier. The toaster also has a an individual toasting setting for hot dog buns and the ability to defrost baked items. The levers allow more control to obtain the desired shade of toasting. The crumb tray is well designed for durability and releases with a push tab unlike the usual flimsy crumb trays that cannot be removed. The tray is easy to clean so there is no build up of old crumbs that may burn ... MoreThis toaster is great, it has unique features unlike your typical toaster. [Rewarded Review] I didn’t know what I was missing! I love this toa

I’ve always bought cheap toasters, because how hard can making toast be?Well, I did some research on toaster, really just because I’m frustrated with appliances not lasting anymore. I also didn’t want any plastic.I have a KitchenAid dishwasher and mixer and love them, so I checked out this toaster. It’s more than I ever imagined paying for a toaster but decided to give it a try.Shipping was fast and arrived in good shape. I ran the toaster empty a few times to burn off the “new” smell. I popped in a piece of homemade bread and WOW! It tossed it twice as fast as my old toaster! It also was toasted nice and even an over both sides of the bread.I didn’t know what I was missing!!It is a nice looking toaster and solidly built. [Rewarded Review] KMT2109 Toaster stylish but slow to toast

I got this KMT2109 Toaster the same time as the KEK1701 Kettle my first Kitchen Aid purchases. It looks stylish in the kitchen and cooks toast nicely when you crank it all the way up to the maximum setting (for normal white (Abbotts) bread).I have also cooked raisin bread which it also does a good job of.I bought this product about a month ago and it works well, but, I need to get some crumpets to see how the variable toasting on different sides works, but given that normal bread needs to be put on maximum setting I expect crumpets will need 2 runs through this toaster to crisp up their face.It is quite slow to toast, so would be good if it had a countdown led indicator (so you don't feel the need to check on its progress, which you can't do as it doesn't ... MoreI got this KMT2109 Toaster the same time as the KEK1701 Kettle my first Kitchen Aid purchases. It looks stylish in the kitchen and cooks toast nicely when you crank it all the way up to the maximum setting (for normal white (Abbotts) bread).I have also cooked raisin bread which it also does a good job of.I bought this product about a month ago and it works well, but, I need to get some crumpets to see how the variable toasting on different sides works, but given that normal bread needs to be put on maximum setting I expect crumpets will need 2 runs through this toaster to crisp up their face.It is quite slow to toast, so would be good if it had a countdown led indicator (so you don't feel the need to check on its progress, which you can't do as it doesn't have a lift to look mechanism)Overall this seems to be a well made toaster and I look forward to using it for some time into the future.

[Rewarded Review] This toaster is amazing!

I was a little unsure of how a toaster could be so great that I could write a review on it…however, this toaster has blown my mind. It has a setting for everyone’s preferred toasting taste. There are literally 10 or so different settings that you can use so that when you toast it will come out exactly the way you want it. Another added bonus to this toaster is that it doesn’t take forever to get that perfect toast. The machine heats up incredibly quick so you aren’t wasting minutes waiting for bread to toast. Also this toaster is super easy to clean and when the toast is done there is no reaching into the toaster to get the bread out, it’s one of my favorite things about this toaster because I’ve lost a many a toast because they get stuck in the toaster.. well not ... MoreI was a little unsure of how a toaster could be so great that I could write a review on it…however, this toaster has blown my mind.
