Recently bought, the Kitchenaid Toaster. It has all the functions I could ask for (except "Eat it for me"!). It has 4 other functions apart from normal toast and 5 dshade settings. The toast seats are as wide as multifunctionally possible and don't wobble. The large Led display is excellent, although the 4 buttons for extra functions, eg crumpet, defrost, reheat, keep warm have tiny print which is difficult to read . Heat vents on the sides are good for heat distribution on the bread.

After years of buying toastersthat were never quite right I bought myself a KitchenAid toaster. It was love at first use. The kids lined up to watch the toast slowly go up and down and it was a real novely for the first few days. I love how the elements adjust to the thickness of whatever you are toasting and how evenly bread slices cook. The window showing the toasting progress means I can do other things around the kitchen without worrying about toast going cold and the beep as the toast raises makes it even easier. I really love this appliance and how smart it looks on my bench top

Firstly - even toasting in both slots so excellent functionality. Wide slots means can fit thick cut bread.Motorised raising lowering of bread makes it easy to insert/remove slices.Power saving - led display goes to slee after a period of time so won’t illuminate your kitchen overnight or use too much standby power.Crumbs east to clean.Cancel button big and others easily signposted.Did I mention the delicious toast.
I really appreciate the adjustable toasting options (according to thickness of bread/crumpet), and the semi automatic lowering/raising of the toast (almost as good as my awesome and only recently retired/still working/played forward 1960s Sunbeam Toastermatic), and so far this toaster is operating brilliantly and toasting perfectly, but that BEEP! Toasting is usually done early morning, and BEEP (twice) is not welcome in a shared household. Nor necessary. This toaster is made in China, not USA as reported by a previous reviewer. With its high price point, my hope is that it will last as long as my retired Sunbeam Toastermatic. I don't mind paying more to avoid adding to landfill.
I particularly wanted a toaster that could do crumpets, and the kids bought me this for my birthday after being assured by the salesperson it is the best.It is fine for toast, but any $20 Chinese toaster can do that.I set it to maximum setting, and five minutes later the crumpets popped up uncooked. After a second run they were only lightly toasted. I don't have time in the mornings to wait any longer, so a third run was not an option. In addition, the ten minutes of cooking started to dry out the crumpets. I did try it again the next day to give it a fair trial, with the same result. By the way, the crumpets were fresh and at room temperature prior to toasting.It's a very expensive Chinese toaster that doesn't fulfill its stated duties.
I bought this toaster for my mum who is 85 years old. She is not good with technology and I needed to find a toaster that was simply and easy use. All the other toasters available were too complicated but the KitchenAid toaster was super simple. She loves how it's just one button and her toast comes out perfect everytime. My mum loves showing all her friends how it works and is so happy with it. BEST PURCHASE EVER!
My husband hates replacing anything.. our old toaster was only toasting one slicer it needed to be replaced.I bought this super red hot toaster to match my beautiful food processor..my husband is now a believer.. the old toaster has gone, he loves the crumpet mode his crumpets don’t get crumpled anymore, he loves the digital toaster dial to get the beautiful toast every time.But what makes this toast the actual winner….He loves watching it go down and he loves the ding when the toast is ready and it slowly comes up perfect ready for his masters magnificent toast.
I like my bread lightly toasted - previous toasters manage this okay but the toast is luke warm. My toast is lovely & hot out of my Artisan toaster & just like my childhood experience of toast!I love the red colour too! Crumpets are also sorted with wide slots & an innovative technique for toasting the tops & bottoms differently so that the tops are more toasted than the bottoms - works perfectly!
I must admit that I was a hesitant purchaser. I read lots of reviews and didn’t feel confident that the toaster would be great. I had already purchased the KitchenAid Kettle and was looking for the matching toaster. Friends encouraged me to buy it saying well it is KitchenAid!!Why are we so happy? Well we love the super easy adjustable knob and digital display with the added feature showing the ‘countdown’ to finish. Not only that I have found the right setting so that we can have wholemeal bread one side and white the other and we are both happy.I no longer need to put the toast back in because it’s not cooked enough - I now just easily adjust for whatever type of bread I’m using.
