At first I though the mixer was a bit underpowered, but it mixed very quickly and efficiently and the end result was a very light cake so I am happy so far. I have only used it once and not tried the whisk attachment yet. The best thing is it is light to hold and the switch to adjust the speed is very easy to use. Also it does actually have dIfferent speeds unlike my previous mixer. It’s more expensive than most hand mixers and only time will tell it’s durability but overall I would recommend.

Bought this mixer for myself as a lockdown present. I have not baked since food tech lessons at school when I was 14 so thought I would give it a go. Mixer is light and easy to use but thinking a more professional cook might need something with more power but a perfect starting point for me.

I bought this mixer for a member of my family. This was based on the fact that I had purchased a KitckenAid mixer a number of years ago and loved the mixer - so easy to use and clean. I feel the same way about this mixer but have one small criticism, that there is no 'flat end' on the latest models to allow you to rest the mixer on its end mid-use, instead you have to rest the mixer over the mixing bowl or rest side-on on the kitchen work top. This is not ideal.

Good Points: Nice little mixer. Flat base so sits on the worktop when in use.Improvement Points: Doesn’t feel very robust and not powerful. Results have been fine so couldn’t really fault it. Results were also fine with the £15 mixer I bought out of Morrison’s 4 years ago! Decided to treat myself as baking more but don’t think it was worth the money.

My kitchen aid arrived within a few days the price was excellent. I need a good quality machine as I bake 3 to 4 times a week.The kitchen aid has 2 sets of beaters 1 of which is ideal for making meringues or mousse. My family always look forward to some home baking, my kitchen aid handheld mixer is perfect. Thank you Harts of Stur
Pros: Used twice, whipped cream and beat butter and sugar without a problem. Appliance fairly quiet, well balanced abd not too heavy.Cons: I bought "black" mixer. Can live with that as it was a good offer!
