Firstly, I shouldn’t be allowed in the kitchen. Secondly these scales are fantastic. The ability to have two independent scales is a great feature. Being able to zero both and add both makes it easy to keep track of everything.It’s stylish in the kitchen and although larger than my previous scales, is still a great size that doesn't take up too much space.The best part of all is the wife likes it too.

This double scale is a lifesaver. All my other scales don’t weigh those light powders/spices as they are too light to pick up which makes it difficult when a recipe calls for 4g. This scale not only has a smaller scale to weigh yeast or guar gum, it also has a bigger scale for all those things you usually weigh. Super happy with it

I loved my KitchenAid scale! It's quickly to cook weighing 2 ingredients at the same time. Also, the small scale is really accurate to weigh spices, yeast and all the little things.The delivery took much longer than expected, but it was a Post Office problem.

Absolutely FANTASTIC scales! Very much impressed at the precision. I am a home crafter and skin care formulator and these scales have been invaluable. I love it how you can use both scales at the same time. The larger one, for more bulkier items and the small one for more precise, micro dosing measurements. The small scales weigh in increments of 0.01g. Highly recommend.
As soon I saw this scale in the store I had to have it. I've been looking for a scale with micro metric measurement for a long time and its great to see that KitchenAid has finally brought this product the table. This product reminds of a similar product that I purchased a year ago from the brand Salta. I believe it was a Heston brand. I never got to use the product because when I opened the box it had been delivered in pieces as the metal plates had all fallen off, so I returned the product for a refund. One year later and then I see this which is a very similar design but much nicer and sleeker looking. This time I did get to use the scale as it was packaged well. I bought a pocket micro scale from eBay once which has a small plate and it takes a while to register a change in weight. I also struggle to put a drinking glass on the eBay scale, but this KitchedAid scale has a very big plate in comparison. The read out on display is blazingly fast. As soon as you add anything to either plate the measurement is almost instant, unlike other scales which take a moment. The only negative that I have is that the micro scale never matches the larger scale. It always shows about a gram more. I would have expected them both to be calibrated using the exact same weight so it's slightly confusing when one scale measures a slightly higher amount. It makes you question which one is actually correct. Otherwise it is a fantastic product that is actually too pretty to even use because I'm scared of creating scratches and swirl marks on the metal plates. Perhaps a scratch proof coating in the next version might come in handy and better calibration of both scales.
I bought these scales a few weeks back and love them. It has a course scale for larger weights and a small scale for anything 0.01g and above.I also work as an engineer and I calibrated the scales to a known quantity and they were spot on. Obviously the larger scale has less resolution but it was very close and easy to use.Very happy with the purchase indeed.
We use digital scales several times a day for cooking and weighing out dog food - this one is perfect. My husband wanted a more accurate once for when he uses it to weigh curing salts for his charcuterie - couldn’t be happier. Easy to use and nice sleek design. Fantastic price too. Would recommend.
This scale performs poorly. It stops working in the middle of weighing. The weight increases when measuring a hot liquid so is inaccurate. My dirt cheap scale doesn't have these issues. Wish I had not bought this. Same as all the other KA accessories- terrible quality.
Can be a little inconsistent on weights post-taring. Like I tared a container and measure 100g then tared without container and it measured 97g. Not a huge difference but it’ll matter if baking.Since I don’t need exacts on the big plate it’s not a big deal for me.
I have bought 6 food scales in the past two years due to poor manufacturing and inaccurate calibration so I decided to invest in this Kitchen Aid scale and I have not looked back. The dual function allows accurate weighing for oil/sauces and protein powder which often gets lost with cheaper scales. Response time to resetting the scale to zero is also unmatched. Not to mention the slick design and durability. Highly recommend
