KitchenAid Go Cordless Food Chopper - Black

I wanted a new food processor that was cordless and smaller than my large capacity food processor. In comparison to my other food processor, this does the job, just not quite as well as the other one. (And keep in mind, my other one is around 10 years old, and cost maybe $30). I like that this one is cordless and small and compact! That means it takes up less room in my kitchen or in my sink when I’m cooking a large meal. So it does exactly what I was looking for. However, I feel like this is overpriced, and probably worth about half of what I paid. I love kitchenaid, and almost all of my kitchenaid appliances (big and small) are the same kitchenaid brand. I just don’t feel like this one warrants the high price tag though.

It was a happy accident to find this on the shelf the week it was released, as I was noticing that most choppers/processors were either 3 cups or 9 cups (or larger) in size. I wanted a processor for cake making; e.g. making a crumb base, and 3 cups was too small and 9 massive overkill. 5 cups was perfect. The battery when full charged has plenty of power and the twin blades make a fine chop quickly. The only downside, if you consider it a downside, is that this is plastic and not the solid steel we're used to from KitchenAid. For me this isn't a problem, because this mini appliance breaks down into halves and goes into a drawer, instead of being on the counter in a permanent spot like full size appliances.
