I bought this blender after my other KitchenAid stand blender died. I wanted to try it out since I had had the other version for so many years. One of the reasons I love these kind of blenders is because I’m a big family cook and I love when my family especially my boys join in and help me and this is the perfect appliance for that. It’s big and, great for teaching them to share as well as teaching them to measure and use this item. I love the color although it’s not my favorite still it is still super beautiful countertop. I will see however it is harder to use because you have to constantly wind down to get the bucket down to put ingredients in while mixing things. It is harder to store as well because it’s such a tall item. Overall, the great product and I give it a four just because it’s hard to put ingredients in even if it’s just myself and I feel like it’s not better than the other one. But overall, it’s a fantastic product and it is so easy and ingredients so well! I make a variety of items with this!

When selecting your speed, there is a short delay from when you set the speed to when it starts up, then gradually climbs up to the set speed - this can prevent messes of flour flying all over your counter. To test the beater blade, we made my Great Aunt Rose's Chicago chocolate chip cookies, full of chocolate chips, oats, and corn flakes. The more powerful motor and larger bowl made it easier to make the cookies compared to the smaller KitchenAid Artisan. I have a much larger space to add ingredients when I can lower the bowl away from the mixer head and easily add the ingredients. You just do not get this much space with the smaller Artisan mixer. The KitchenAid Professional 600 did a great job creaming butter and sugar together. The mixer evenly incorporated all ingredients with no unmixed streaks. There was no jumping around when adding the solid chocolate chips and oats thanks to it's hefty design. Transform your mixer into a juicer, meat grinder and more. The Professional is compatible with KitchenAid's attachments to really make your KitchenAid more than just a mixer. The Attachment Hub in front of the mixer can be loaded with one of the many attachments. Turn your mixer into a grain mill, ice cream maker, or vegetable spiralizer - There are over 15 attachments for your KitchenAid to will transform it into another appliance. If you want to grind meat or chop vegetables, you will get the smoothest experience from the KitchenAid Professional 600 with its more powerful 575W motor.... This is the best appliance I have in my kitchen j absolutely love it and cannot get enough of it.

Different attachments are also available separately which can easily be attached and perform many duties with this single appliance. It is a one machine army. I will definitely recommend this to all cooking and baking lovers. Must have appliances for every kitchen.

I purchased this stand mixer And received it in Jan of 2022. Not long after that, I experienced some health issues. unfortunately for a year and three months it was used to whip mashed potatoes. As I began to feel better I decided I would start making my own bread, After approximately 10 uses of the mixer. It is now not kneading with the dough hook. The recipe I use has six cups of flour and one cup of red river cereal. Certainly not that difficult a chore. I called kitchenaid to discuss the issue. I was told that the warranty had expired and I was responsible to find Someone to fix the machine on my own, or order the part and do it myself. This is terrible customer service. I'm very disappointed. I was so excited to receive this, have wanted one forever. I think I ... MoreI purchased this stand mixer And received it in Jan of 2022. I'm very disappointed. I was so excited to receive this, have wanted one forever. I think I should have kept my old artisan tilt. This isn't an insignificant purchase for me. I could easily use the five hundred dollars spent on the mixer,on something else. This machine did not live up to the kitchenaid reputation. People say they have had theirs for years and years and never had an issue. I don't know if the gears are made of plastic. but if that's the case I suggest you use something stronger. I did take video if you are interested in seeing them.
I purchased the 6 QT Professional 600 model / refurbished. I called customer service before to verify the model and return policy. After reading dozens of reviews of other customers refurbished experience, I made the purchase. I have a KitchenAid kitchen--- fridge/stove-induction-new, dishwasher and microwave and have for years. I also have a toaster, can opener, 4.5 quart mixer, and coffee maker and cook ware. I love KA and still do, but this upgrade mixer is not what I purchased or what was advertised. I was sent the Costco model-- 590 watts, and the band around the mixer just says KitchenAid, not Professional 600. There is a difference, and I have wanted the 600 for a long time and checked out the Costco version and read the reviews. I was sent the Costco model-- 590 watts, and the band around the mixer just says KitchenAid, not Professional 600. There is a difference, and I have wanted the 600 for a long time and checked out the Costco version and read the reviews. The motor is different... it is louder and made with cheaper parts, and the bowl does not fit right. Either does the whip attachment. These are known issues with the Costco models and they currently sell for 249.00 at my Costco, but the refurbished was 219.00 --- if I wanted the Costco version, I would have just purchased a new one and not the refurbished. That being said, the Costco mixer I received appeared to be brand new and never used, not a scratch on it. I have no problem buying a refurbished one since reading the reviews and receiving one myself, but I want what is advertised on the KA website-- Professional 600. I have called customer service twice since sending mine back, ( sent it back the day after I received it by taking to FEDEX) and still almost 4 weeks after sending it back, I have yet to receive credit. I also called specifically to ask what colors of mixers were sold at Costco so I can try again to get the Professional one but no one there can/will tell me. I dont want to have to keep ordering and sending back even though it is no cost---- it is still a hassle. I tried calling again today but the hold time was 97 minutes. KA is a great product but this has put a bad taste in my mouth---- I understand that refurbished is discounted for a reason, but when you dont disclose this on the website, it is misleading. The color I ordered was Contour Silver, there is also an option to order Silver and Metallic Chrome... I just want to know if these were colors that were sold at Costco-- if they were not, there is a good chance I will order one once they are back in stock, but at this point, I think I am just going to keep my 4.5 quart. Maybe not everyone cares about this issue, but if you are paying for a Professional 600 that are new at 550.00 ---- and you are getting a Costco version for over 200.00 refurbished, when you can go to Costco and get a new one for a few bucks more, the savings is not what it appears.
As soon as the sale went on for this beautiful KitchenAid mixer, I ordered two one for my son in silver and one for my daughter in blue velvet when it arrived the blue velvet was not in the box, but a red one was. Basically, I just wanted to say this isn’t the first time QVC has sent me some thing other than what I ordered, which is very disappointing. It’s not KitchenAid fault it’s QVC‘s fault either the person who put the mixer in the box is colorblind or just not paying attention to what was ordered. It’s just very frustrating when you order a product common. Not to mention, the price was excellent and then you’re not able to even get it because somebody. Messed up the order and not once but twice
I purchased through a retailer to upgrade from my 10+ year old classic kitchenaid...and sadly it's been anything but an upgrade. The mixer is obviously much lower quality than the classic. At times it doesn't turn on (which I made customer service aware of, but getting service at all was such a hassle that it ended up not being addressed). The ceramic coating chips off the paddle attachment...it was replaced under warranty, but the replacement immediately started chipping. Both being handwashed only. When the mixer arrived the attachment hub cap was broken, but we were able to replace it with the hub cap from our classic. After owning the Artisan model for over 15 years, it gave up on me. I upgraded to the refurbished professional 600 series with the 6 quart bowl. I love this new model as it has much more power for mixing bread dough without the motor heating up. The larger mixing bowl is very easy to work with for making medium to large quantities of dough or batter. I did not have to transfer or mix in batches when making my Christmas Cake. The bowl does not sit on the base of the stand like the Artisan or other models, which makes it ideal for making Swiss Merangue Buttercream, or any recipe that requires the bowl to cool down quickly.I had to return and get a replacement as the first one was defective but customer service was wonderful. Overall it works. However, I was shocked by the quality. The attachment cap at the top is completely crooked and I can't fix it. My bowl came with a deep scratch on it that I feel, every time I touch the handle. The first day I used the stand mixer I sustained two metal splinters one right after the other, due to rough unfinished edges on the bottom and on the bowl attachement point. I saved for years for a kitchenaid and was so happy for no more wooden spoon! I am very dissapointed and shocked by the quality of this kitchenaid. Assembly so sloppily put together without care. Kitchenaid is the gold standard and I was so proud to finally own one. It doesn't feel very good. I was on hold with customer service for over 45 minutes trying to see if maybe I could get a replacement but no one ever answered the phone.
I have had a Kitchenaid tilt mixer for decades, and have been very happy with it over the years. I was first introduced to Kitchenaid by a professional baker, who I would assist with some of her orders from time to time. Fast forward a few decades, this past year I have become more active in a couple garden societies and seems they both want us to bring snacks, in particular, cookies. Using my tilt mixer, I could only mix a batch at a time, which kept me up until the wee hours of the morning at times, churning out three batches. That is what led me to purchase the lift mixer. I can easily knock out three batches in half the time, and show up rested and refreshed the next day. The quality of today’s mixers today seem just as good as my decades-old tilt mixer. The only issue was adjusting the screw in the back that the instructions said may have to be adjusted. I did have a problem with the bowl rattling initially, but once I adjusted the screw, as instructed, it’s been working great - no other issues. Highly recommend this mixer, no matter which size you prefer.
