I've had this thermal camera for a little over a month now, and I'm very happy with the image quality, compact size, and ease of use. This camera has such good resolution that it looks as good as other camera's on the market that use an additional optical sensor to detect the edges of objects. The compact size, clear image quality, and ease of use makes this camera enjoyable to use and valuable on the job. I've never had an issue with any of the 3 Klien tools I own, and will continue to choose Klien for their quality, intelligent design, and reliability. This camera has already helped me find several problems that I wouldn't have found without it. The TI290 works ok indoor, but when outside in sunlight you can’t see anything on the screen. On cloudy days you can see the screen outside. Yes, I know I can adjust the contrast but that doesn’t help. I was going to use it for commercial HVAC problems on roofs. A coworker has the TI250 and it seems to work better in the direct sunlight than the TI290. Not worth the price if I can’t use in the direct sunlight.
