Klipsch Detroit Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Model 1072202 - Black

This little thing is so awesome! The sound is great not as great as beats but pretty close. I love that I can take it anywhere I go. It’s great for home gym or a day by the pool. Seems to be made very well. Comes with booklet and charging cable although you do have to purchase a wall plug in separate. It connects to both Apple and android devices with no problems. The battery life is pretty amazing. For the price point and not really knowing about it, I would have probably opted for something more affordable but I’m glad I got to try for free and I would definitely recommend and purchase in the future!

Wow! This is my first time trying out Klipsch Detroit Portable Bluetooth speaker. AND IM LOVING IT! the sound is better than I expected. I was very excited to start connecting when it was home. First, I connected it to my phone, sounded amazing. Then, I connected to my computer to watch some anime and listen to music and horror stories. Just at the volume of 20 or 25, the sound was great! Light enough to easily carry around, and im planning to bring it to my next party. I really like that sound comes from both ends of the speaker. Weighing in at 6.8 lbs, I would not really consider the Detroit "portable." But convenience is a sacrifice I am willing to make if it means I'll be receiving professional grade sound quality, which this thing delivers. With these speakers, I never have to worry about losing details or clarity, even at high volumes. And believe u me, this speaker can get LOUD. I'm at half volume here and I already feel like imma get a noise complaint haha. If you rlly know what ur doing and want to take ur audio game up a level u can dl the app and mess around w eq. Otherwise just dl the app to turn off the function sounds like I did. Everything from the design to the instruction manual is already so intuitive and straightforward that an app is mostly auxiliary. Excellent Product

The Detroit is fantastic. I was waiting for reviews, so I hope to be helpful to anyone else that's still waiting. The bass on this will surprise you. It shows you just how much of the song you are normally missing when you are listening to the same song on other devices. The volume is also pretty shocking at how loud it gets. The App helps you fine-tune your listening, & the battery lasts forever. I find myself listening to the Detroit most of the time I am home, even as background music, & with its portability, I think I found my new best friend. Great sound.. Poor battery life at halfway

This may be the best approach being a portable speaker out there. If this review were entirely based on sound it’s a five. Typical Klipsch has great sound. But the battery life is one-third the advertised value. I run it mostly outside at 10 for volume sometimes lower. The volume range is 0-16. I worked with support. I was getting a maximum of 6-7 hours of battery life which is rated up to 21 hours. Support said they ran it about halfway.They said my battery life was normal running the levels I use it which is 8-11. I average 9-10. I Indoors about 8 (which didn't get much higher life and is halfway. If I listen to voice podcasts around 4 I might get close to full battery life. Impressive Sound Quality!

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. And I’m honestly incredibly impressed with the Detroit Bluetooth Speaker from Klipsch. It was larger than I expected, but when you hear how much sound comes out of it you’ll be shocked at home small it is. The bass is the best and fullest sounding I’ve found in a portable speaker. It’s made incredibly well, has an impressive battery life for its size, and is easy to control with both the tactile buttons and the app. It was also super easy to pair with my phone. I’m so pleasantly surprised and I would definitely recommend this model if you’re looking for a larger portable speaker!

I've been playing this portable speaker for many weeks and now I'm ready to tell something about my experience.First I have to say that, even though it remains portable, it's larger and heavier than I thought, but it's not a problem for me since I bought it to listen some music in my garden, so I don't have to carry it around on a regular basis.The overall looking is very pleasant and the sensation is of a good built, durable and premium product. I didn't like the "flat" setting so I adjusted it to my liking in a few minutes with the Klipsch Connect app.It came with less than half of the battery so I wanted to discharge it completely (which took about 8 hours) before charging it.The entire recharge takes about 3 hours and with a use at various volumes, but mostly 50%, it lasts more than 20 hours which for me means more than a week.When it comes to how it plays, guys this thig is literally a jawdropper! When I listen to it I keep wandering how can such crisp, clear, defined and POWERFUL sound come out of a small speaker. You can feel the bass in your chest. That's a beautiful peace of engineering!Never forget that we are talking about a compact portable speaker but believe me, I've listened many of these devices, even those that are most blazoned, and this Detroit is second to none.There's only one thing I can criticize and it's the volume control. It's set on a 10 level scale which makes it few granular, many times one is too low and the next is too high. If they made it on a 20 level scale would be perfect.

Klipsch Detroit delivers like a champ.

I’ve been a Klipsch fan since my high school days in the 70’s, totally dedicated to the famous Klipsch horn tweeters. When my wife and I bought a travel trailer last fall for retirement touring, I knew I needed a great sounding Bluetooth speaker for off grid and outdoor use. When I read about the Detroit, I knew it was the speaker for us. It arrived yesterday, and after an overnight charging, I set it up in our living room and outdoors. My trust in Klipsch is once again rewarded with an amazing sounding Bluetooth speaker. The highs are sharp and crisp. Voices sound natural and clear, and the bass is surprising for a portable Bluetooth unit. I’d recommend the Klipsch Detroit over any other brand. Klipsch has a real winner in the Detroit.

Wonderful speaker!

I am very happy with this speaker. The build quality is great. Compact and easy to carry with the strap. The sound is well balanced. The bass is way better than I expected for this size of speaker. Battery life is great. The app is a plus for controlling sound. It connects well with all my devices. I can’t find anything I don’t like about this speaker. Will probably buy another and pair together. Highly recommend the Detroit. Klipsch you did a wonderful job on this. Keep it up!
