I love this shelf but I had a really hard time figuring out the instructions. There are a lot of tiny details and it was very difficult to make sure you were putting the right things in the right places. Assembly not for the impatient or faint-hearted!

The shelf arrived with massive cracks in the wood and strange pink stains. It actually looked like it was a display model that had been broken down and put back in the box. Was still able to assemble it, and it looks fine after some touch ups, but I know not to put weight on it as those cracks were deep and are definitely going to snap at some point.

Purchased this for my child's room. Had a little difficulty following the installation instructions as the diagrams were unclear and too small to work out in parts. Some pieces were damaged coming out of the box, eg: scratches and one part of the A frame the white laminate was not adhered properly. Unfortunately I was not in a position to return the goods for a replacement or refund. On this occasion the expectation and the reality did not align. Great concept, poor quality, not satisfied and would not recommend due to the quality aspect.
This is the first time I have ever put together a flat pack project by myself and I was surprised that it was easier than I expected.Once I sat and read the instructions the shelf was fairly easy to put together. It did take some time to complete but worth the effort once finished.
These are gorgeous shelves. However, when I opened one of the boxes, there was pink smudging on some of the pieces. I think it may have been from the red plastic tie that was part of the packaging. This may need to be removed so it doesn't ruin the look of the shelves
Love the shelf in my room. Instructions were not very clear for installing the ladder yourself. Took me over 3hrs to put together as spent most of the time trying to decipher it. Better instructions would make it much easier.
The construction is more complicated than is necessary, and the instructions could be clearer. The quality of the shelves are about what you'd expect for this price, but it would have been nice if two of the shelves didn't arrive with chips in them already.Overall, it does the job I wanted it to, and how much more can you really expect for this price?
Pretty little shelf. Took a little while to put together but looks great. Happy it comes with wall secures so it won't fall in an earthquake etc.
Ok so honestly the shape is good it's sturdy if you have made it correct it came quickly shipping was good no damage to boxBUTThe quality is so poor I would not recommend this product there was chips in the white coating holes visible instructions were not nearly adequate the pictures diagrams were very blurred usually I'm really happy with everything I have bought with kmart but on this bookshelf I would have rather not buy it.I think if kmart can quality control the flat pack instructions ensuring they are clear and a better quality shelf surface it would have done much better in my review
