Great kettle, brought this for my daughter, she loves it, looks great, goes with her coffee machine,
Its not too noisy compared to some I've used. I love the variable temperature control as I mostly don't need 100deg water. Time will tell as far as longevity and brown marks on the stainless steel.I love the double walled glass/plastic idea (cool to touch and less fragile, plus the water is more insulated) and the concealed element. But I wish they didn't ruin the health benefits of using these materials by putting plastic in the inside of the lid and around the spout where the water can condensate and run back down - I didn't realise this would be the case as I bought it online.
The previous version of this kettle was made of glass, and the description online didn’t say that they are now made of plastic. I bought two, and don’t want to use them them as I try to avoid eating or drinking anything heated in plastic. Very disappointed.
I am very happy with my purchase, especially the different temperatures that the water can be set.For a kettle it is quiet in operation
Have used for over 1 year. The temperature selection and keep warm facilityare very useful but the big problem is that sometimes it will start and switch off after a few seconds. Will work after starting again. More frequently it will not turn off when set to boil. Always turns off if set to lower temperature
Love this kettle - especially the different temperatures one can choose and also the choice to keep the water warm. Excellent quality for the price
