The box comes with eight 1Kg weights, six 2kg weights and two 1Kg bars. Box is made of flimsy hard plastic but does the job of keeping it all together. There are grips on the bars that have been welded on and the nuts can been bolted on easily. There have been times nuts have come loose but plenty of gap. So no chance of it falling off. Great for beginners.

When using a Dumbbell set I select a weight that is recommended for a specific excercise. The bar and two nuts that hold the weights for each of the two units weighs 1.7 kg. When I want to use a weight of, say, 5kg I can not set that up. I can do 4.7 kg or 5.7 kg. I am sure that the bar and nuts could have been made a little bit heavier to weigh 2kg.

Love using these customisable dumbells! As i feel myself getting stronger I simply add more plates to the bars, don't need to buy separate dumbells of different weights. Saves alot of money and space. Great for home gyms.

Awesome simple DB set. Much cheaper than other sets on the market. There are some compromises to quality but unless you are rocking big weights on the handle, you will not notice it. Great for 20-30kg per handle.
I’ve only had them a few weeks but they seem very solid & get the job done. 4x 2kg + 8x 1kg weights allow for variation. For an entry level to weight training, it feels like a good place to start.

Great weights, but the box is not up to the job. I returned the first box because it was all broken from the heavy weights. Next box totally crushed corners. Returned it. BigW has a set $10 cheaper and a better box.
While assembling the weights, one of the screws didn't fit the bar diameter properly and I am unable to use the dumbbell set. I would wish for a replacement but nobody receives the call at customer service.
